I’m actually in quite the same situation as Raine. In the YMCA locker rooms, I often have difficulty not staring at other peoples “packages” when they are in their birthday suit for what I view to be the same reason she is having a hard time (out of canon mind you) not looking at Maren’s. I would say that Raine’s (and by extension my) real difficulty lies in the fact that because of isolation from other humans (and normal human behavior) for so long (probably private baths and all to prevent others from finding out it her werewolf gene), She pretty much never was in the situation where she or others were bathing nearby, and as such, has probably almost only seen herself in the buff (assuming she even ventured so far as to strip down in front of a mirror). Essentially, if you grow up in a situation where timeframe normal behaviors, like relaxing in the public bath despite your neighbor being nude, or just changing in a locker room are avoided, you aren’t comfortable in that situation, causing you to resort to covering up (her literally, me, changing in a stall).

I understand the place you are coming from. I use to have that concern when I started Junior High School. The shower rooms scared the life out of me. I eventually reached a point where I allowed myself to become preoccupied with getting ready for the next class and talking with other students about what was up in my next class that all else became inconsequential. Please know I meant no harm to Raine or her circumstance. I love the comic and have the deepest respect for the artist.

That did go through my mind when typing it out. *Gives Towel To Maren*. 5 Minutes Later: *Is relaxed enough to chat* 10 Minutes Later: *Is relaxed enough to turn human again* 5 Minutes Later: *Maren Touches Raine’s Shoulder, laughing because Raine told her a joke about Red’s Infatuation with her* *#ImmediateRealization*. *Sinks lower in water to hide the bare skin* 3 Seconds Later: *POOF!!!*. Raine: “Dammit! Fluffy again!!!”. Maren: “Your fur’s all Disheveled Again… *sigh* I’ll find my grooming kit again.”

This is especially funny after rereading the comic. Raine had no problem with Karen, Maren, and Flora on page 56 and seems more uncomfortable in this pic than when Trace and Red barged into the women's bath on page 58. Just think if that happened now!

That would be hilarious to see that scene in this image’s context. Though, Canon Raine would be OK with this I think. (Remember, unless it’s tagged as a historic event or side comic, the Patreon images aren’t considered canon due to their heavily fandom influenced designs.)

In terms of a blush, maybe the fur in that area is hollow (like a polar bears fur which lets those bears absorb some light to help them produce vitamin D). It could be that hallow hair follicles transfer blushing to the surface. As for going into heat, I’m sure it’ll happen.
