Oh, this is the beginning of one of those scenes. I’m inspired, let me write something: ... It was beautiful tonight. The cool air was chilled my fur but I was warm under my attire and from the heat radiating from the individual leaning against me. She was also gazing into the illuminated night sky. Earlier, I tried to teach her how to howl, and while that didn’t end as a success I want to think that we bonded a bit. “Zen? What do you think?” She was looking at me. I had been staring at her for some time, at the subtle curves of her face, at the gentle movement of her hair when disturbed by the soft caress of the cold gentle breeze. She was smiling at me, waiting for my reply, while I stared at her eyes. They were gorgeously luminous in the dim, beautiful and pure, filled with a seductive hunger for wonder. Did she know that her eyes were that way, I wonder? “Zen? Do you think they look pretty?” She asked again. “Yeah, Kat.” I reply. She giggles and returns her gaze to the sky. My eyes return to the sky. “They look beautiful.” I don’t think she understood what I meant. Maybe I wasn’t sure what I meant, but I was definitely sure of something, at least this one thing: Yes. She was beautiful tonight.

This picture is painfully platonic, it's like they aren't even in the same place. Looks like two separate portraits photoshopped together. It's a beautiful piece nonetheless, but the intent behind the suggestion was lost in creation.

Probably not. Canon I'm pretty sure both Zen and Kat will end up alone, but the ship itself will persist no matter how much anyone dislikes it for pointless/irrelevant reasons.

I hope not, @Kyle_Windham or at least if they are going to be paired up in the story, they should get to know each other for a good length before falling in love. I don't like the idea of pairing the spares, especially just for the sake of it.
