He doesn't have one. As far as I'm aware, Keidran in general don't have surnames. They seem to just reference where they're from more than anything. Kathrin uses Eric's last name because she was his slave her entire life, so she's sort of part of his family.

So other than thinking they look kind of cute in each other's proximity, what exactly about them makes you think they'd be good together at all? Because they literally just met in the story and know next to nothing about each other. It isn't necessary to pair up all of the main cast members together. Forced romance is bad writing. It's perfectly fine for the story to end with some people still looking for a relationship.

I'm so glad this is actually being pointed out by Natani directly. Reminder that Clovis threatened Zen with using Natani as a rape slave for his mercenaries if they failed their mission and that shipping Clovis with either of them is wildly disrespectful and fucking disgusting.

Volpethrope’s grammar is correct. If the reference was to Natani, it would be “biologically” correct, but Volpethrope wasn’t referring to Natani. The reference “he” was referring to Eric Vaughn, and the “She”s we’re referring to Kat.

Sorry. I meant that to read out like “abusive SOB”, but because his father’s a wolf, and his mother’s a vixen, I decided to switch it up. There aren’t any canon details about his parents other than their race and that he hated them for some reason. He’s abusive in aspect that he wants total control over subordinates, especially if one of them is physically female due to his sexist view that only men can be strong.

That was Natani explaining available knowledge of Clovis to Reni. Natani wasn’t around Clovis during the genderbend incident, and Clovis was severed from the mind link, making it so that Natani and Zen couldn’t check in on Clovis, or his new bod, even if they wanted to. If you re-read that section, not once does Natani say “She” or “Princess” or even “Bitch” when referring to who Clovis is. That last one maybe as part of calling Clovis an SOB, but nothing more.

I’m gonna say this to everybody involved in this thread before things get out of hand. NO ARGUING!!! Peoples opinions rarely, if ever change when you just shove your interpretation of the truth down their throats. It’s the reason I’ve stopped debating my stance (which you can figure out on your own) in lieu of advocating peaceful conversations between us. It isn’t beneficial to anyone, and just causes hate amongst us. If it has to do with “Natani being a ‘She’ because of lacking the male anatomy” or “Natani’s a ‘He’ because of having a male mindset (for who knows how many comic or IRL years)” or “His Profile says male” just zip it and take it to the forums. That is the proper channel to debate this, not here where it does nothing but clog up the comment section.

None of us are truly wrong, but, none are truly correct either.

Making “corrections” like this have hijacked the comment section in the past and I don’t want that to happen again. Please follow my advice in my general reply, and use the forums for this.

It is generally considered polite to refer to people by the gender THEY identify as, not the sex they are. For Natani, either he/she would be correct as far as comments go, though Natani would probably prefer male pronouns.
