A couple of human explorers encounter an isolated but friendly Snow Leopard colony, and is offered a guide in the form of the chief's son. Suggested by BluePhantom90!

I mean these could be different humans than the ones we see in the comic. On one of the pages we see that the continent the story takes place on was originally colonized from somewhere by humans, so they could be explorers from there. Prob doesn’t help with the possible slavers tho

I have no idea. My guess is that st one time the colonies and homelands went to war or something and it was destructive to the point where the colonies lost a lot of knowledge about the home land, and eventually forgot it?

We need to make a “Where’s Waldo?” book, “Where’s Maeve’s Dad?” Or just “Where’s TwoKinds?” Where your goal is to find the Characters that we see in the comic, and/or villains.

When writing this I wanted to make a ton of references, nearly calling Ben “Hiccup [insert different last name here]” but going with a Star Wars and HTTYD name (Ben Swolo and Hiccup Haddock respectively). Referred to Stoic the Vast. Changing the Vowels in Alaric’s name to E, I, and O respectively. I also envision Eliroc as the Chief’s Husband (as in, The Chief is a woman, much like how things work at the Basidian Isle). And finally writing a Fan-Fic Explanation for the “Tan…” character that Red mentions to Raine as being the reason Maren is cold. Long story short, Tanner is a playboy type wolf.

Long story short, we don’t know where on Planet TwoKinds they migrated from, but know that it was the whole stereotypical thanksgiving story situation (the native Keidran taking pity and saving their lives before being totally driven away in return).
