I'm disappointed this got color voted mainly because in the sketch there was a nice background that was fitting with the Gothic attire Nora is wearing. Even though there is a beauty to a simple black background, which does work here, I feel it is quite a shame that the original background did not made the cut. It still works as a desktop wallpaper I could put in rotation but not something I would put as my go-to primary wallpaper for a long time. Wish this was hold off for a future Nora Card but now I do not want someone to waste $200 when there are other sketches that could use that.

Lady Nora look so classy in a humanoid form, much in contrast to have light hearted she likes behaving in dragonform. Now we just need a drawing of Lady Nora holding court along side the various other humanoid dragons (and adrakists).

Yes, artistic choices, and buyer choices ... It is interesting, I too expected to be swooned by the context I remembered, but when I saw the full size image the background works as "more elegant" for me. (But I like black.) This is Tom's gift to us - and a gift it is!

Yeah there is a difference between complaining and something like pointing out how something could be done better, comparing Would be just saying something is bad or wrong stuff like that, while at least in his he kinda have what he think should have been done to have made it even better

There is a difference in criticizing a piece of art and criticizing the artist though. The former is your opinion on your personal experience, the latter is a put down of an expert (as it were). ... To be honest I have never thought much on this subject, I tend to leave artist criticism to the professional critics since you would need some statistics or at least a lot of cases on the art to do it. I guess if someone *really* messed up ("seems you forgot one leg? that drawing has two horizons!" et cetera - on second thought, maybe just objective details? I would not know much about artistic choices) I could see my way to say something.
