Oh I didn't notice Trace on the non colour version

Meowium99

I was about to write "FIRST!!!" but then I realised I wasn't first. UwU

AstroChaos

That's just gorgeous

Ex_04LLZ

Castle go boom!

Anonymous

Almost didn't notice the shockwave, looks great!

McClaw

Cue up the theme to "Airwolf".

SCD

I didn't know that the aliens from the Independence Day movie invaded the Twokinds universe. Instead of blowing up the White House, they blew up the Trace Estate.

Dornroschen

Enemy AC-130 ABOVE, SHOOTS LAZER

Oriloun

That was a moment that I want to know how)

Alto135

There is so much detail.

KuroKitsune

I love the detail that Nora's wings are slightly transparent

Supreme Leader Porg

Question is, how long til/if IRL we equip the ac-130s with laser weaponry?

Supreme Leader Porg

What I want to know, is how an Independence Day scenario would work in TK universe. There’s less advanced technology but also magic and dragons, so who knows

Dornroschen

Another 20 years probably, I can imagine Thatcher from r6 riding Nora screaming "that's a big fookin lasor soight"

Dornroschen

And a 60 inch blade... I can also imagine Nora is probably like what's a laser sight?

Supreme Leader Porg

Or for that matter what an emp is.

Nora just looks up, wait what are you wearing. That armor doesn’t look very useful.

Dornroschen

Looks down at NORA. This is used by the sas ok... WHY THE HELL AM I RIDING A DRAGON? AND WHO'S THAT YOUR CARRYING.

Steve Gloria

Yeah I wondered how the hell she survived that lol. Jokes aside, Randall was a lot more impactful than the comic would have him seem. For the only Templar with no magic power, he was pretty badass in his own right. I wish they gave him more screentime or at the very least more development since he was the only Templar so far who was kinda just a throw-away.

Oriloun

That's good, great, awesome!!!))

Oriloun

Tom, you must awake Nora)

maxim v

that's skin under intense light, you can almost do the same if you turn off the light in the room, then open a flashlight on your phone, then place a finger over the light of the phone's flashlight, ta-da, the room is red.

maxim v

be patient... she still needs 998~ years to heal. :/

Thomas Schulz

We already do. The YAL-1 was an airborne laser mounted to a Boeing 747. After several test runs the air force decided that for the laser to be effective it needed to be 4 times more powerful. After that the program was mothballed then canceled.

LegoBoy71617

This isn’t the only one where Lady Nora’s wings are transparent, maxim v. It might just be how her wings are supposed to look. Either way, it is an awesome detail.

Supreme Leader Porg

True, but as you said they decided they needed a stronger laser, so I guess once we could see a more effective Powersource for a plane, we could see a laser gunship? (Well the YAL-1 was abm anyways, but still pretty cool)

McClaw

The aliens couldn't hack the Internet or satellite network because there isn't one. But would the aliens have magic?

Supreme Leader Porg

Its not not letting me delete this comment so if you see this ignore it please. It was just supposed to be the one below this.

Supreme Leader Porg

No, but they would have their space ships. I Guess it’s whether they decide to sit up in their ships using laser to pick off the surface targets, and whether or not magic could do anything to those, vs if the aliens landed to do a ground invasion for some reason, which then I think that the magic could for sure possibly better even the playing field

McClaw

As the aliens were depicted as living like "space locust" (find a planet, strip it of resources, move to the next), they'd probably be disappointed at the lack of advanced tech, but they'd still come down for metals (any form), edibles, and maybe water. The real issue is what sort of threat they'd recognize from orbit; if they couldn't detect magic or dragons, would they even bother blasting the (comparatively small) cities that exist? And what options would magic provide for taking the fight up to the mother ship?

Twokindsfan

I feel as if that little bit of black behind Noras right wing is Laura's tailr

Supreme Leader Porg

Yeah. I guess the dragons could possibly pose a threat to the Mothership of they could get close enough. I assume that magic has at least some kind of range since we don’t in the comic see people doing spells and stuff from across the continent, (but yet again that’s similar to Star Wars and their ship combat, is that just because we don’t see long range use of something doesn’t mean It can’t happen) but to make things easier I would say that they at least need to get kinda close, and then it just depends on how it interacts with the shields. Other than that, if they decided it wasn’t really needed to space laser the cities to death, I think the TK people would have a much better chance. Another thing that could complete change things is the fact the continent we see in the comic is just a colony (from where we don’t know where and was somehow lost/forgotten by the people in the comic) but depending on the tech level of where ever colonized them (if they are still alive) could possibly also threaten the Aliens
