Well, I don't know what the goal was in creating her for the templers, but when I think about their behaviour towards keidran and that they have to raise something like her, I already know they will do a terrible parent job. Poor girl :(

You know, this seemingly random character could make a dynamic addition to the webcomic! I mean, I know we already have quite a few comic relief characters here and there. But, with the webcomic nearing its climax (as far as I know), she could be a valuable wild card to help Group A stop the Templars once and for all.

I think the Tempers would be a different faction. It doesn't apply to biology, but to there are a couple meanings of the verb 'temper' that could apply. act as a neutralizing or counterbalancing force to (something). "their idealism is tempered with realism" improve the hardness and elasticity of (steel or other metal) by reheating and then cooling it. "the way a smith would temper a sword" The second one could be applicable were the girl made as a literal weapon, (a metaphorical sword,) and we know not her purpose, so it's possible. (Failed experimental weapon, anyone?)

Or it could just be her mispronunciation of the word Templars. As a writer, Tom would likely create different speech patterns for each character he creates. So, perhaps she heard Templars but misunderstood/mispronounced the word as Tempers. (A lot of us southerners tend to mispronounce a lot of words. So, I know from where I'm speaking.)
