Go home Keith, you've had to much tea for this time. Jokes aside, basitins are naturally resistant to poisons and toxins, so should the caffeine in that tea have effect?

Maybe. I assume since they're implied to be resistant to all toxins, they have the ability to metabolize them faster, so caffeine would have a similar effect to humans, but wouldn't last nearly as long.
