Kathrin is so adorable when tangled up in yarn. Who wants to see Adult Kathrin loose a fight with a ball of yarn like this? Now to guess who’s more feline and who’s more canid between her parents. I’d have to say Daddy’s more of a Felis Leo Keidranus (mostly lion), and Mommy’s more of a Canus Hyaenidae Keidranus (mostly spotted hyaena). I think she has mastered the art of yarn ball taming since she is now a skilled seamstress. Anything more aggressive or capable than a ball of yarn would probably be a challenge for her though.

But hyenas aren't even slightly canine, they are more closely related to cats than dogs. In spite of the father's mane, I'd say that the mother is the more probable feline, simply because there aren't any canines with spots like that.

Kat's ref sheet states she came from one mixed breed feline and one mixed breed canine. If I had to guess, I'd say her father is part lion and part snow leopard, and her mother is part fox and part spotted dog. (Others have said she resembles a hyena, but as far as I know hyenas are not a Keidran species.)

They're also not a dog-species, closer related to cats if anything. Though in the sense that Bears are closer related to Dogs. Wild Dog maybe?
