None of them are aware of what is about to happen. 1:23 and 35 seconds. Sythe and Maren look at the doors to the beach room and see the impossible. The enchanted doors, which weigh 350 kilograms each and are specifically designed to seal the rest of the manor against magical leakage, are jumping up and down on their hinges. They run to tell Rose, but there is nothing they can do to stop what is coming. 1:23 and 44. We do not know exactly how fast the volleyball was spinning when it failed. We only know the final reading. A typical volleyball, which is designed to spin at around 3,200 rpm, is rotating at beyond 33,000. The magical energy inside of the room can no longer be held back. At last, we have arrived at 1:23:45. Explosion.

I didn't get the impression that Natani was nearly strong enough to challenge Trace when it came to magic... but then again this is just for fun :)

This just goes to show the, to quote Snoke, “Raw, Untamed, Power” Natani has. If it were to be refined, Natani could be the greatest thing to ever happen to Mekkan, or the most deadly. Honestly I think that Natani parallels quite well with Rey, which is why I chose to put Natani where I did on my “TwoKinds: The Last Journey” poster.

Yeah, considering they tend to be more unstable than the battery of a Samsung Galaxy Note7 when the mana’s being drawn from them too fast. I don’t want my favorite character becoming the next “King Louis” or “Marie Antoinette” and developing a “sore throat”.

Ah. How was that show? I saw a video from a YouTuber who grew up not far from Chernobyl when the disaster struck and was discussing details they missed that would have otherwise made the show that much more true to life, but haven’t watched it myself.

I really enjoyed it. I mean, it was definitely a drama, but they did a good job of being transparent of what portions were altered for dramatic purposes and why. Otherwise it was surprisingly accurate. ...Also terrifying.

I'm sorry but I have to contradict you. This is the main difference between magic and sorcery: the magicians using raw power, the sorcerers using mana from power stored in magic items (mana crystals in this case). This means that magicians are stronger when facing an unexpected trial, while the sorcerers are weaker; but if the sorcerers have time to imbue power on the item used to store mana they have access to more power. What we see here is a sign of great power for Trace, not Natani, cause with many crystal any sorcerer may pose a great challenge

@Darthkeidran It is toxic for people to misgender trans characters. It is not politics to correctly refer to someone by their gender. Knowingly misgendering someone, even a character, is dangerous and harmful to trans folks. Excusing the misgendering of those that are trans, even characters in media, is excusing bigotry. Tom has made it painfully clear, Natani is male. Referring to him as anything but male is harmful and bigotted. And it is just plain wrong on a moral standpoint.

Female fight is one which has been fought off and on for the majority of the time that Tom has had a Patreon, and it tends to result in two situations. People hating each other’s guts, and Extremely long comment threads that don’t achieve anything progressive or otherwise. The reason this is a problem, and is toxic to the community is because “Progressives” tend to focus on “Political correctness”, or subjectiveness, whereas “Conservatives tend to focus on “Factual correctness” (not sure that’s a phrase anyone uses), or objectiveness. One is based on feelings and the other on cold hard “What’s in the pants”, and no amount of non-constructive discussion is going to solve either parties problems. (Constructive conversation on the other hand would be politely asking for something and discussing the reasons. E.G. “Can you please use male pronouns for Natani because he has stated I’m a man multiple times” is far more constructive than “He’s a Man! Stop calling him what he isn’t!” And gets very much the same message across). Just so you are aware, despite that my ideals more closely align with <i>@Joshua Stewart</i>, I almost only refer to Natani by name, or using words like “the former”, or “the latter” as that is language appropriate to the political diversity of the community. Additionally, I will never correct (although I may have in the past long ago) people’s choice of words, instead defending it from people seeking to correct each other (regardless of if it’s the male or female side of the argument) because I value free speech. Ultimately, I don’t want us all arguing with each other, it’s like beating the dead horse’s skeleton it’s happened so much.

@DarthKeidran This has been a problem for longer than Tom has had a Patreon, actually. Since it was first revealed that Natani has female body parts. Since his link with his brother was first revealed. It has been an issue. I got into a huge argument on Tumblr with someone who refused to acknowledge that the link even existed and that Natani made it up as a way to hide his shame (this was before it was revealed that his gender identity is not the result of the link but existed before the link had been established, for the record). This is not about political correctness, which is something I don't care for in the slightest to be frank. "One is based on feelings and the other on cold hard "what's in the pants"" It is not about feelings on the end you're claiming it is. Tom stated in his Natani ref sheet that he identifies as male while has a female body. Natani has stated in the comic that he does not want to be called female and to "cut out that miss crap". The idea that "what's in the pants" determines how someone should be referred to is harmful to quite a good number of people. It ignores the difference between gender and sex, which is the sole reason trans people exist, because of that difference. This is not a matter of free speech. In fact, free speech has nothing to do with this. Free speech means that the government cannot silence you, persecute you, or censor you. It does not mean "I can say whatever I want without being criticized by anyone". Because that's a misrepresentation of what the freedom of speech actually is, according to the law. You're "free" to say whatever you want just as I'm "free" to say whatever I want in response. You're "free" to speak your mind but everyone is also "free" to respond in any number of ways. That's what it means for free speech.

Ok <b>@Dragonlicious</b>, I'll give you that. I've only been a fan for around as long as he had a Patreon and I, admittedly and regrettably, engaged in some of the fights I mentioned. Also, I feel you misinterpreted what the message I intended to convey. My intent was to provide a little perspective in regards to what many conservatives deem to be 100% fact. Politically speaking, I'm centrist leaning right (by probably only a handful of degrees), so I agree with you more than you may think I do. Similarly, I'm not intending to deny the fact that Natani is identifying as male, or other information which has been established in canon (E.G. I understood from day 1 of reading the comic that Natani and Zen shared a mental link of some form, although the idea that the link pushed the gender identity onto Natani, due to the manner of the fractured soul was largely deemed by the masses to be canon until the page you're referring to where "Youngtani" educates Natani on their tomboyish/masculine preference in life prior to the curse). Ultimately, as I've stated in this thread, and to reiterate a point in previous threads, trying to get someone to change their choice in language is very difficult when the only thing faced is harsh criticism or demands to change. The only reason I am more politically sensitive in my choice of wording around Natani is because of transgender coworkers and individuals I supervise in both my previous and current job having meaningful and constructive conversation. Without that, I would likely currently be vehemently "shouting" something along the lines of "Natani is female and has a fractured mind" despite the established canon, instead of trying to reason with you. Additionally, I don't disagree with you. I don't mean to say that free speech guarantees not being criticized, but what I meant with that whole spiel was more so that we should seek compromises through constructive conversation, or agree to disagree (which most in the "maletani" part of the community that have fought in the past eventually seem to have chosen), rather than seeking to destroy one another on here (which is what straight up correcting one another tends to move towards quicker than a Tesla Roadster 2.0), for the reasons I mentioned earlier… "People hating each other’s guts, and Extremely long comment threads that don’t achieve anything progressive or otherwise." Lastly, I apologize, sometimes my Autism shows and I don't alway's word things in a way that it comes across as intended. (P.S. @DarthKeidran I've been a fan of TwoKinds since early in chapter 2, so I've seen a good part of the drama that's come and gone (though I largely tried to ignore it at first but I do love a good debate every now and then and would attempt such a thing) I do not align myself with any political stance beyond "you human? I treat you as human" and "respect is not earned but disrespect is so unless you earn disrespect you shall be respected". Because of this, many do find themselves agreeing with me regardless of their political alignment. And just as many disagree, I've found. Since you're not denying the fact that he IDs as male, it should be easy to understand that he is male. I don't see how it is so hard to understand. I'm not trying to get people to, as you put it, change their choice in language. I'm trying to get them to understand the reason why their choice in language can be seen as hurtful. Yes, in my first response I was a little... intense. But in my defense to that, it was six in the morning and I had been up since 4am and rather irate as a result. I also have seen Joshua for ages argue rather harshly in "defense" of continued misgendering of Natani and what I've seen was eerily similar to how my own family would argue against gendering me correctly. Since then I've gotten the change to relax and rest, allowing my mind to not be so cray-cray. I am rather ashamed of how I responded initially, though I do not really regret it because it was my true feelings said without being as harsh as I normally can be when in such a state. As a fellow autistic, I can understand the issue of words not coming across as intended. No need to apologize. I've been able to understand you well enough. Oof @ the lack of sleep. There is no Dif in Gender and Sex, its the same thing, its ALL politcal that has brought this "you are what you identify" crap to the front. Nat has Tits and a inny, not an outy. She's a girl. You can Identify as what ever you want, it doesn't mean you are one. Gender and sex are different. Just because he has tits doesn't mean he is female. He has stated this. Tom flat out said "Gender Male" on Natani's reference sheet. Being trans is not a delusion. "I'm not going to fire back" you say yet.... you did. And quite rudely, I might add. Calling trans people delusional. I sure hope you never interact with a trans person in the real world because if this is how you treat fictional trans I'd hate to see how you treat real trans.
