Sequel to Kat and Nora - Love Talk - Nora goes into more detail about what attracts her to Trace, suggested by iliar!

Sorry for the lack of sketches the last two days. Cincinnnati Comic Expo got my schedule a little turned around. I'll be working on more sketches for this week.

Tyrasa T. Lopun

The subtlest non-subtle "And A good shag would be fine too" I've ever seen xD

Markvincible

I imagine Nora and trace’s children would be quite powerful

Project #11

Possibly, if masks allowed their existence in the first place

Vatruvius

Ah ha! I knew it! Well...sort of? Is it purely Trace possibly siring powerful children that has you attracted to his power Nora?

Wind Walker

I guess what counts as love becomes a trickier question when you're an ancient dragon.

Constantine

I mean, nora is the closest thing the dragons have to a mask...

SCD

Kathrin: You are a sad, strange, little dragon. You have my pity. Farewell.

Vatruvius

Also, the Masks have not intervened with the reproduction of dragons to my knowledge. Since dragons are not excluded to reproducing with other dragons to produce dragons, like Reni, I do not see how Trace and Nora wouldn't make powerful dragons.

Nick

a bit outside his age range, i must say

DiDiDi-X

I think she actually wants to have kids with Trace. And I can imagine how powerful those creatures will be. Maybe even more powerful then Nora.

Project #11

Well yes, but actually no. The result could be curse just like with Raine

LupusK

So basically, She's a stalker.

Golden Gears

Wrong again because Reni is the result of a second generation of dragon produced from the offspring of a human and a dragon.

Drazgon

Thank you, Tom. Finally the last puzzle piece gets filled in.

Torbjörn Larsson

Shirts are for *serious* talk. Pants are optional.

Fox-o guy

It's Warhammer 40k all over again

Roughlandin

Kat: "Oh! Well, I guess that's um... one way to look at it." Nora: "..." Kat: "..." Nora, bursting into tears: "Oh, who am I kidding! OF COURSE IT'S LOVE!" Kat: "O-oh!" Nora: "I've lived for centuries; seen the rise and fall of civilizations; bedded the most powerful, beautiful creatures in all the lands; and I'm completely undone by some stupid, oblivious human boy with a power complex and a... a CAT fetish!" Kat, bristling: "C-cat fetish!?"

Quite Possibly a Sombrero

Grab onto those little interesting tidbits of mortal before they slink back into the earth and the chase begins again.

MoppyPuppy

Kat has no potential to be interesting apparently.

McClaw

Kat: "Nora, do you care about trace and not want to see him hurt?" Nora: "Of course." Kat: "That's love. It may not be romantic, and wanting to breed with him makes it lus-- I mean physical, but it's still love. You love Trace." Nora: "Oh. I suppose you're right. And I love you too, Kat." *smooch*

Anonymous

Look at Tom, apologizing for a little lack of free shit. Cute

Steve Gloria

How the heck would he impregnate a dragon?

Eric

Do you want a diagram, or...?

ProudLoneWolf

For THAT to happen, either Nora would have to become human, or Trace would have to become a dragon. She's probably imagining the latter, because it's been stated she avoids taking human, Keidran or Basitin forms because of their connection to the Masks...and it's already happened before, with Reni's grandmother.

Shadowkey392

...so it’s more akin to a crush, then?

Galadhrim

Well you could ask Donkey, he somehow managed to do it.

Orn

Have u not read any DnD tale about Bards?

csstats

Hehehe, Nora wants Trace's babies.

Glenn Griffon

i don't understand. Why's that brutal?

jo holloway

one of the traits that kat was selectivly bred to have is being infertile.

Wind Walker

According to canon Reni dragons are flexible when it comes to procreation, and apparently they can blatantly disregard the opinion of the masks. It's safe to assume that if there were any possible complications the dragons either know or can figure out how to deal with it.

Trollman906

In D&D it is possible to bang a dragon

Trollman906

They just changed there appearance to work with it

AetherSprite224

To be specific, though, I don't think that Kat was specifically bred to be infertile, Jo. I think that her infertility is a byproduct of her hybridization between feline and canine.

DarthKeidran

@jo holloway, AetherSprite224 is actually mostly correct here. It was a result of her hybridization, and she was not deliberately bred to be infertile (I don't think any slaver in their right mind would deliberately breed a sex slave with the intent that they would be infertile. It wouldn't be good for business to be producing slaves that can't make more of themselves… unless the slaver's name is Monsanto, then that would make perfect sense). What is unclear is if, for sure she was first generation canine-feline hybrid, since she does say "I was bred this way. As were my parents, and theirs, and so on." before going on to say that they aren't often bred together and that she is infertile. I interpret it as in the realm of possibility for a Canid-Felid hybrid to be fertile, however, the odds are either slim, or Kathrin was given the short end of the genetic code when she was conceived.

DarthKeidran

Let us all make a suggestion for an alternate history where Nora successfully develops a romantic relation with Trace, and we see their dragonlings.

Krahazik's Shipyard

I think with Nora it is a bit more complicated than even that
