Alternate reality where Flora actually beats up the Basitins guards (somehow) suggested by Saberbeam!

Wolf guy

#FloraTheWarior

MoppyPuppy

From the title had me thinking/hoping it was an image of Flora utterly dominating Keith and his svelte body in a wrestling match, I don't know maybe she grabbed his ears or something.

Shockblaster

I can already imagine the moment they open the door, an entire Basitin regiment is waiting for them, spears forward

MiDoFox

Flora the barbarian

ElderScrollsMekkan

*Never* underestimate, or get in the way of a pregnant tigress and her mate! Don't even dare! ^^

Night_Meaty22

Kinda looks like Flora is using magic

SavageJenner

Her feet weren't covered were they.

The Sexy Beast

Basitins are made of papier mâché...who knew?

Keith Keiser

No, no, don't believe what you see, Basitin are tough

KiTA

They're distracted by the bare ankles. If Flora had gone furclad, she wouldn't have even needed a weapon.

MoppyPuppy

Flora would destroy you in a fight.

SCD

Flora: Rip and tear! RIP AND TEAR!!!! Kathrin: Since when you became the Doom Slayer? Flora: JUST NOW!!!! Kathrin: 0_0

SCD

It's super effective!

noxamillion

Flora channeled her inner Sir Lancelot. Now she's ready to storm the island and stab every Basitin that stands between her and Trace.

Alto135

(Flora) "Look at all the Keiths running at me."

donutguy

I have been playing Brutal Doom. This really made me grin!

Torbjörn Larsson

(Basitins) "Ha! You think you can wield such a large sword with such a small chest?" (*Flora pwns Basitins*)

Golden Gears

They can literally be defeated with infrasound.

Golden Gears

This make me wonder if the basitins are vulnerable to infrasound. Darth or Jordan if you're out there what do you think?

Golden Gears

I am pretty sure that the basitins ,while maybe being vulnerable to ear grabbing, are also vulnerable to infrasound. What do you think?

Golden Gears

Rambo is way bloodier than that!

Golden Gears

They might be vulnerable to infrasound or something similar though! What do you think?

Roughlandin

Kat: "Wow, Flora! You beat off all of those Basitin guards!" Flora: "...Wh-! Why are you saying it like that?" Kat: "Like what? I'm impressed! It's not easy for us girls to beat off so many men at once! It's tiring!" Flora: "You have a lot of experience with that sort of thing, I take it?" Kat: "Oh, you'd be surprised. A good-looking keidran girl like me, growing up all alone in the human world... I had to beat off so many boys I practically lost count! But you? I've never seen ANYONE, male or female, beat off that many men that quick and efficiently! You were like a machine! Trace will be so proud when I tell him how many men you beat off just to get back to him!" Flora: "...You will never speak of this day, or this conversation. To anyone. EVER. Understood?" Kat: "O-okay?" (I don't know why I keep upsetting her! I was only trying to be friendly...)

Silent Thunder

Now this reminds me of one of the old, more prose pieces, depicting an AU where Trace and Flora drift apart instead of getting close. Trace resumes his duties as grand templar, and Flora becomes a resistance/revolution warlord, rising against the templar regime. She’s a battle-hardened and battle-scarred badass, but she still is haunted by the what-if of what could’ve happened (the real canon)

Silent Thunder

Could be. Sensitive senses always have their advantages and drawbacks, like that

Kieroni

Flora being the Hero of Destiny is concerning. Does that mean that Trace is Princess Zelda here?

Customaera

She flashed em with her paw pads, didn't she?

MoppyPuppy

I can't see Flora pulling an infrasound generator out of nowhere just to mount a writhing Keith to assert her dominance and claim ownership over Keith.

Beastking1945

Lol,they'd be like, oh,look at the pretty stars,oh wait, that's cause I'm knocked out.

Shadowkey392

That would not make sense. If they were vulnerable to that, then any sound that WE can hear would do them in in an instant. A more likely vulnerability, I think, would be ULTRAsound.

Shadowkey392

I’m gonna guess that either Flora and Kat got the drop on them and took them by surprise, or the Bastins took pity on them and let them win.

Adamas

They saw Kat's ankles.

Ordithus

Flora once jump-kicked a guy in the face and kept a famous assassin at bay with nothing but her claws. Flora is legendary - the Basitin King is next.

DarthKeidran

Maybe if the infrasound matches the natural resonant frequency of their outer ears. I'm pretty sure that would be more than sufficiently debilitating.

DarthKeidran

Florambo: “My Name is Flora of the Rainforest Tiger Tribe. You insulted my figure. Prepare to die.”

DarthKeidran

A few moments later The Keiths: [Floras! Floras Everywhere!]

DarthKeidran

Florambo: *Charges through the Basitin ranks, launching many into the air and flat out knocking out pretty much the remainder of them*

FoxbitPlayz

yes sometimes RP(or side-stories) is the best way to get to know a franchise better.

Supreme Leader Porg

Flora just hit them during their designated definitely not teaTM tea time

Alto135

(Trace) "What are they doing?" (Nora) "Shhh, this is the good part."

Golden Gears

I was referring to the type of infrasound used by Default against Raymond in the Watch Dogs 1 DLC. You know? The infrasound speakers?

Mattgames4110

If I was a Basitin guard and I hear Flora coming. I would say "Well that's my cue later!!! But it was to late to run away Flora Caught me right before I made it out of the castle. And that is why I have a chip tooth on the top and bottom of my mouth. From: Mattgames

Saberbeam

Thanks Tom! :D And now I'm just picturing Flora and Kat skipping hand in hand to the fortress, singing a lovely chorus of "We're off to save a wizard, a wonderful wizard called Trace!"

durandle

you mean the timeline that Ephemeral envisioned

Meowium99

In this battle, it isn't "Who's more skilled?", it's "Who's the least incompetent?"
