Wolf guy

Her condition is a type of werewolfism

Ascdren

Poor Raine is not a werewolf. She is clearly a whywolf

2026-10-08 12:00 Lol... As much as madie is right, raines shapeshifting powers are uncontrolable at the moment... Whereas a wearwolfs shapeshift is judged on a full moon

Greywolf

Kind of a technicality there. I'm going to side with Maddie on this one

Leonard Browntail

Could use someone like Maddie in a class to convince my teacher to cancel a test...

Anonymous

Well, she can change at will, so ... she's a werewolf mark 2

Nick

these are confusing times.

Ferrous

There Wolf There, Castle

DiDiDi-X

I mean, Maddie has a point. Raine is like a Werewolf.

SCD

Madelyn: Better shoot you with a silver bullet, just to be safe. Raine: YIP! (runs away in fear)

Golden Gears

Maddie is a fucking gas lighter is what she is!

MiDoFox

She is a rare case of howwolf

Isn't the full moon thing mostly a hollywood invention?

Wakeangel2001

actually no, it's based on the fact that there was more activity on nights will full moons, including drunken partiers staying out much later, it's where we get the term "lunacy" from. All that came from before we had electric lighting at night, predating Hollywood of course.

Wakeangel2001

technically the term literally means "man wolf" (with man being the equivalent of "human" or "person" in this context.) So by that definition all keidren could be considered werewolves, werefoxes, weretigers...etc. The transformation aspect of being a werewolf isn't actually a necessary part of it.

Keith Keiser

Yeah @Wakeangel2001 My dad actually said about that to me once, about lunatic asylums too, term came from the lunar cycle because crazy people seemed to act out at full moons, but nobody knows why.

Stephen Gilberg

It's not gaslighting unless it brings Raine's sanity into question.

Keith Keiser

Yeah, would have thought so too

Norvin Fisk

Of course, there is always teh more rare case of teh WhenWolf

Elie Platt

I'm confused. A Whatwolf?

Customaera

All this who, what, where - here's one better: WHYwolf?

Major Matt Mason

"Why are you talking like that?" "YOU started it!"

Ferrous

"Wait! WAIT! Where are you going? ...I was gonna make espresso!"

LucaUmbriel

It's always "werewolf!" But never "how wolf?"

STORY-COMMENT™ Maddie: "Good. Do you want to join my club?" Raine: "Huh? Club?" Maddie: "Yeah. I'm a Were-Squirrel. I don't know what happened, but suddenly I wound up in a tree, and had an acorn in my mouth. I'm trying to start a were-person club." ( https://www.patreon.com/posts/weresquirrel-15632188 ) Reni: *Comes around the corner in human form, having shifted to a human form for the first time to see how she handles it* (thoughts (because she hasn't figured out the human vocal cords yet)) "Uh, A little Help." *Trips* Raine: "Are you okay?!" *Runs and helps Reni back to her feet* Maddie: "Wait, Is that the dragon? Reni, will you join our were-person club?" Reni: "What?"

John W. Vinson

Or the rare but intriguing women who can become deer: Weredoes.

John W. Vinson

Oh, Natani, I knew you were. Or I knew you're were. Or both.

Mark Temple

given which of her parents she tales after most, she's a wolf that turns into a human. a reverse werewolf.

Why NOT wolf?

RacingEevee

Great, now she needs to go on loads of quests, kill a witch and speak to fire to cure it. A frightening process.

Glenn Sellers

LOL. Nice one. But, I'd always thought that men could be Weredoes, too.

Crimson spokes

It was only a mater of time before this happen
