Why do I have the feeling that this wouldn’t quite be a “Little Mermaid” situation, if in this context the two didn’t know each other, and that Natani would flop Keith onto dry land, make sure he’s okay, then swim off before he sees who rescued him? Then again, it could be practically the same circumstance, except, Natani uses some awesome merfolk magic to gain legs and a tail change to a Keidran tail. I don’t know. I’m still 78% asleep right now because I’m getting ready for a 16 hour shift. 😭😩😴😪

It could just be a clone of Mekkan, it’s people, and politics, but, merfolk. In other words, a mer-Clovis who’s been a pain in mer-Tani’s side. A mer-Zen who’s mind is linked. An amnesiac mer-Grand-Templar-Trace who’s the fiancé of mer-Flora of the Kelpforest Mer-Tiger Tribe. A utterly adorable mer-Maeve. A mer-Raine who, like Ariel, wants to be out of the water because any books she comes across break apart due to the water. And we can’t forget the ever so smexy mer-Kathrin with a Pervy mer-Eric (who has interest in not only mer-Keidran and mer-Basitin, but Also Humans, Keidran, and Basitin) to boot. You’re welcome, those who weren’t sure what to suggest next week. 😉👍

My nephew and I were just talking about mermaid mythology. There are a lot of different kinds of mermaids from myths all over the world and depending on were they are from, they can rescue you from a shipwreck or cause the shipwreck so they can eat you. My mind just wondered and I started think of the SNL mermaid skit with Kate McKinnon. XD

I was afraid it'd dry out up there, so I pulled it down here and tried to get it back home. It gulped some water at first and thrashed around a little, but then it went all funny and blue, and now the stupid thing won't breathe!" Zenfish: "Maybe it needs fast moving water over its gills, like a shark." Mertani: "Yeah, I tried that! Didn't work. It thrashed around some more, and then its eyes rolled up and it sank to the sandbed like a big dumb rock." Zenfish: "Huh. Maybe it's one of those... air breathers?" Mertani: "What, like a dolphin? Brother, I've seen dolphins. Dolphins are graceful and majestic. Look at this thing! It looks more like a... like a scrawny seagull! Zenfish: "Yeah, I guess... Wait, don't seagulls breathe air too?" Mertani: "I don't know! Do I look like I spend a lot of time talking to seagulls? (Besides, they're rude!) Fine! I guess I'll throw it up on the beach and see if that does anything." Zenfish: "Good luck with your new boyfriend!" Mertani: "IT'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND! ...I don't even know if it's a boy." Mertani: *Checks breeches* Mertani: "Well that didn't help! Now I'm even MORE confused!"

He is a sleeper agent with a tragic past orchestrated by the templar to make him mentally malleable while the subliminal messages do their magic. I mean that in the ocean are parallel circumstances. Meaning, there’s also a mer-Keith, but he just hasn’t met mer-Tani yet. In other words, perhaps mer-Tani will, post rescue, capture the heart of Young Keith first, and something would cause Natani to hit the drink and get with mer-Keith.
