Nice to see Red with Raine (white wolf form) decorating a Christmas tree.

Grip

Need to pet it or have to tie it to her leg so it doesn't get her in trouble.

Argonwolf

She doesn't really care about the ornaments, she just wanted to feel Red between her legs.

Stormonu

Red should know if gets too much tail, he’d go blind

Reseen Dalls

Too bad his face is not in the right direction. ;)

Glenn Sellers

Off hand, I'd say that Raine's tail is covering Red's eyes to keep him from looking where he shouldn't . . . yet.

MoppyPuppy

Raine's tail has a mind of it's own huh? Well it's a better judge of character than the girl its attached to. I hope Red breaks his spine in that fall.

SCD

Raine's tail did it on purpose, so it can watch both of them crash into the tree.

Inglorious Bastard

That's a little harsh don't you think, I mean I'm no fan of Red either but that sounds a bit extreme?

MoppyPuppy

We can wait until Red starts physically abusing Raine but I'm going to try and get out ahead of it.

The Flaming Rabbit

MoppyPuppy: are you actually reading the comic or are you coming up with your own story. Red hasn't cared for a long time but please, keep your head cannon and the rest of us will continue enjoying the actual story

PBaks

Are you even reading the same comic we are?

RacingEevee

I thought Raine was twice as heavy I’m wolf form as she was in human form... if so then Red must have been absurdly strong just to to hold her on his shoulders. I might be overthinking it though.😐🤔

MoppyPuppy

Red to this day is still having trouble containing his disdain for Keidran, it slipped out only a few pages ago. Red makes an exception for his desired squeeze but that isn't altruism, if Raine were to outright reject Red he would immediately go back to his old ways.

InTheLionsDen

Hopefully they are not up on the end of a high ladder. Rose might need to do the old teleport rescue again resulting in Red and Raine spending some quiet time together down in the dungeon.

Argonwolf

Sounds like you're projecting personal experiences onto imaginary characters. This is a comic where even perverted slave owners aren't particularly unlikable or mean.

MoppyPuppy

Which is kinda screwed up don't you think? I'm not projecting anything I'm only being consistent. Replace "dirty flea-bag" with any other racial slur and suddenly instant forgiveness for Red is thrown out the window.

VitAnyaNaked

Hehe, I definitely feel sorry for him, it seems to me the tail will do something terrible. OMG!

PBaks

Well, I don't think that Red is essentially bad, because his hatred is caused by the conflicts, probably raids on his village and templar propaganda. I would say that Red sees keidran more as his enemies than lesser creatures. Human mind is capable of big changes. I believe that he can change.

PBaks

Also his hatred comes from a desire to protect others. Yes, the comic shows scene, where he's looking forward to beat some keidrans, but that's when he was young and hotheaded, we all have been or be there. Just like stereotypical young Americans in some movies, don't forget this is just fantasy story based on author's own experience with racism.

MoppyPuppy

Is that the criteria we're using now? A desire to protect absolves? "The flea-bag Keidran immigrants are coming across the border to take our women!" I disagree that it's 100% okay to have this attitude just because it comes from a desire to protect from the absurd. Humans can change but Red has not, he's just masking what he really is to get into Raine's pants. I guarantee that if Red can't have Raine he will immediately show his true colors.

MoppyPuppy

Lastly, I think that if Red is truly formed from the author's experience of racism then I can just about guarantee that Red is going to sell out the rest of the gang out of convenience. Red x Raine will sink and Red in a fit of jealous rage will serve the group to the Templar in exchange for membership, all the while mumbling how Raine was just a dirty flea-bag after all. Can't trust Keidran, they will break your heart.

CrimsonQuill086

I personally believe that Red will change for the better, and not just because of Raine. We already saw him forced to work together with Sythe to survive and protect the others-now, they are good acquaintances, perhaps even friends, going by the attitude. Yes, he is a bigot. Yes, he still displays his racism. But he is actively trying to change, to switch his attitude, and it doesn't happen overnight. It takes time. I see a great deal of myself in Red as a matter of fact...I've had many terrible habits that I have had to change, and they didn' go quietly. I am still trying to iron out some of my worst and most damaging tendencies, and while it is taking a while (especially my tendency to take things too personally and say things that I really regret), I am making progress, and changing. Similarly, Red is changing for the better. Red, in my opinion, represents Tom's knowledge of people who start out as racists and bigots through a combination of their upbringing, external factors and their personality, but who through a further series of events, people and self-reflections, choose to become better people, to set aside their hatred, even if only for a few. Red's past is a rather nasty one (given how much of an arsehole he was), but again, he's trying to be better. And to quote Agent Carolina from Red vs Blue, "I think that we have a chance to do better. And if we wake up everyday and try to make things better, eventually, we might find that better is good enough. " I understand your hostility to Red, but I implore you to look at each character deeply, and not just generalize them...that is exactly the thing that this comic was started to draw attention to, and address.
