Wait. Is it Russian characters? I mean... If it so, then Keith must be "Grandfather Frost", not "Father Frost". I say this as a native russian speaker Upd: Thank you, guys from below, for explaining.

Ellarihan

I don't know why, but traditionally "father frost" is used in literature as a translation. Without "grand-". That is Google and Reverso says, but Wiki consider that "Grandfather Frost" is the most correct translation.

this looks really Cute. They look amazing.

Yeah, I had to search that [ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ded_Moroz ]. So the parallel is "Father Christmas and Santa Claus" but the "literal translation is "Grandfather Frost"", so I can see the confusion. "The origins of the character of Ded Moroz predates Christianity as a Slavic wizard of winter." Ha, reminds me of the ancient genome sequencing of Viking age Swedes, there is a definite Slavic gene flow (migration) going on which would explain the many Slavic artifacts as well. And later myth "flow", apparently, though our own "Father Yule" seems derived from the Germanic Wotan/Nordic Odin myth [ https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oden ].

Laura hums to herself as she wanders the darkened halls of the Manor, coming at last to the empty ballroom. She begins to sing. "Dancing bears, painted wings Things I almost remember And a song someone sings Once upon a December." As she makes her way to the center of the room, ghostly figures materialize, waltzing through shadow across the marble floor. She sings louder. "Someone holds me safe and warm Horses prance through a silver storm Figures dancing gracefully Across my memory." The figures dance faster as the lamps and chandeliers spring to light throughout the room. With the shadow dispelled, the dancers are revealed. Keith and his new friends dance and laugh together through a long winter's night. They seem entirely unaware of Laura's presence among them. Hugging her arms around herself and spinning, Laura sings even louder, her voice echoing through the room. "Long ago, far away Burning dim as an ember Things my heart used to know Things it yearns to remember And a song someone sings-" Keith approaches her and her voice catches in her throat. He is smiling at her, his eyes warm and bright. He holds out his hand in offer. She reaches for him, but someone else takes the hand before she can. She watches as Natani steps through her own faint form, smiling back at Keith as they move once more to the center of the floor. With a pang, Laura realizes that Keith looks as happy as she has ever seen him. She smiles, even as she feels a tear beginning to streak its way through the fur of her cheek, and turns to leave. The final notes of her song float through the air as she fades into the night. "Once upon... a December."

Might not have much to do with the OP, but when I hear Russia and December together my mind goes immediately to Don Bluth's 'Anastasia'. Sorry not sorry.

They used their powers to send the planet to another ice age, dooming everyone.

Did a quick read on it these characters are actually traditionally supposed to be grandfather and granddaughter but in my head Canon there mr. Claus and mrs. Claus at least that's how I always see these types of characters

The Sexy Beast

I love these Yule theme drawings. ❤️

Wolf guy

So romantic and sad.

Yes. This is Russian characters. Actually, this idea was proposed by me to 2018-12-09 stream, but then it did not chosen. That times I was googling for native name for the Russian's “Дед Мороз” in English. There were many options, but for some reason I chose this one ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. But the fact that “Дед Мороз” ! = “Santa Claus” it's ironclad. It's two different characters, although they are similar. So, this time I just used this old idea. And Tom expertly embodied it! Thank you Tom! These are real Russian Father Frost and Snow Maiden! PS. I'm native Russian speaker, too :) PPS. But an awful English writer :(

Thx for the effort, I learned a lot of new stuff besides the funny figures Keith and Laura made! And FWIW, I could read all that, so it's not "awful". You should see my English before it has a shower and some coffee in the mornings ...

Firedrake

Reminds me of 1964 Soviet fairytale movie "Morozko" (Jack Frost in English). I love it!

Why can't the three of them dance together? I mean, it's been evident that her ghostly figure can be seen.
