You know, this sort of reminds me of the painting "Lucretia Borgia Reigns in the Vatican in the Absence of Pope Alexander VI" complete with the suggestion of foot kissing. Heh, maybe in this alternate universe Evil!Trace fell in love-at-first-sight when he rescued Laura and now she sometimes stands in for him at meetings, like Lucretia did for her father in the mentioned painting.

With Trace's help, some very particular mana crystals, and an ingeniously reverse engineered draconian glamour on my part; these guys have no idea we're anything but the humaniest humans around. Here, check it out." Laura: "HEY, EVERYBODY! Check out my tailless Templar booty!" *Turns around and wiggles said booty at crowd.* "Whaddaya think of that?" Randy the Tempy: "...It's very nice, my Lord. Quite tailless." Laura: "Damn right, it is! Now, on to the first order of business. Safewords. Everybody's gonna need one from now on. Try to pick one that's short, easy to remember, and not something you'd say in typical conversation." Randy the Tempy: "My usual go-to is 'Makrome', my Lord." Laura: "I like this guy! Somebody give that guy a raise... and send him to my quarters. The Grand Consort and I shall meet him there presently." Keith: "...What have I gotten myself into now?" Laura: "Chop-chop, Grand Consort! I'm not gonna say what happens to the last one to my quarters, but it involves tailless booty and rhymes with 'shmaddle'." Keith: "YIPE! Yes, Grand Templar! I was just playing with the idea of the painting I mentioned, and fitting this sketch to it's narrative. It was considered scandalous for a woman, let alone the the illegitimate daughter of the Pope, to represent him, and they were expected to treat her as if it were the Pope himself sitting there (hence the monk kissing her foot). Here we have a Keidran as "Grand Templar" of an organization that has shown itself as very anti-Keidran in the story. I could see the Templar over looking Trace having a Keidran lover (like the Vatican overlooking Pope Alexander VI's adultery) but imagine the scandal of him having her represent him as Grand Templar in official business and expecting them to treat her as if she were him?

There's not really a way I can see this happening without either the use of magic to perhaps cloud how people see her, or through some really expert political maneuvering, neither of which are skills we have seen from Laura as of yet. <br>(granted this is just a sketch so the reality of the comic doesn't really matter, but still fun to think About)

Maybe if Tom fave more care to his minor characters (ex. Laura and Nikolai) and not needlessly killed them off in totally avoidable deaths, perhaps we could see more epic scenes like this in the comic, instead of just butts and boobs.
