Brutus: "Hello! My name's Brutus!" Adira: "I... Yes... I heard." Maeve: "We're gonna go make waffles now." Brutus: "Oh, boy! I love waffles!" Maeve: "Me too! We're gonna have so much fun! Maybe if we ask real nice later, momma will let you sleep over tonight!" Brutus: "Oh, boy! I love sleepovers!" Adira, watching them leave: *Sigh.* "This has been a strange day." Xtra Krispy Roan: *Cough.* "...You're telling me, lady." Adira: "Ah!" *Punches him.* Roan: "GAH! The face! Why always, with the hitting of the face?"

I mean there’s a big sign saying they’re at war with the wolves right now.” Keith: “B-Bu…” Lynn: “I know Natani is a close friend, but I must agree with Miss Adelaide, the best way to care for your friend is with caution.” <i>Fast Forwarding</i> Flora: “How about you not arrest my friends!” Keiren: “I’m sorry Flora… I was worried he had you enslaved, and may have been using you as a breeder like those Vaughan’s over in Wreathwood, what with you being pregnant and all.” <i>Fast Forwarding</i> Daniels: “Ol’ Rinehold said he saw wolves moving through his fields near Riftwall. Do you want me to go check it out?” Keiren: “Nah… were too busy right now. Plus, it’s probably just kids.” HISHE Smart Scientist: “Here's a bright idea. Why don’t you make sure it’s just kids before you let a terrorist false flag attack happen in the middle of these peace talks.” Keiren: “Who are you?” <i>Fast Forwarding</i> Adira: “The Riftwall has been dark since the war began.” Trace: “Well, isn’t there a way to restart it? Like, throwing some mana crystals into it or something? There’s a Templar Tower in town, and I know those draw Mana from the surroundings. Maybe the Riftwall is just low on Mana.” Adira: “What do you think I am, a mage? I’m going to see if that works. Thanks!” *1 hour later* Adira: “I hope this works.” *throws a hand full of Mana Crystals into the Riftwall* *The Riftwall opens, with Amelia sitting in a chair on the other side* Adira: “Amelia. It’s working again, I’m so glad to see you again!” <i>Fast Forwarding</i> *The above occurs* Roan: *Starts running around wildly and comically, unsure what just happened, but aware he’s now on fire* Maeve: (thinking) I hope he’s going to be alright. Sam: “Goes to throw a Fireball at Adira.” *Sam is denied by Trace* *Clovis’Guild Retreats* *Flora and Trace Embrace* Keiren: “Wait, if she isn’t his slave, and he’s her friend, and they don’t have any other Keidran in their group, and it’s a long story… That means she… and he… and…That’s Impossible!” <i>Fast Forwarding</i> YoungTani: “I’ve got a feeling we’re gonna die if we don’t wake up and get out of here” Natani: “Oh, OK.” *Takes YoungTani’s hand* *The Na’Rella explodes* Preacher Tom: “We are Gathered here to celebrate the lives of a Wolf Assassin, who had some big secrets, an innocent-minded CatDog Slavegirl, who couldn’t get it on with her Master, and a Basitin Ambassador, who kept losing those that he considered family.” Red’s Cousin, Blu: “In the Name of Meaningless Battle!” Preacher Tom: “Is there a survivable profession anywhere on Mekkan? Aack!” <i>Fast Forwarding</i> Natani: “I couldn’t save Laura’s Urn Keith. I’m so sorry.” Keith: “She was at home on the beach anyways, I’m just glad you’re alive.” Keiren: “You’re all under arrest!” Flora: “Ahem!” Keiren: “Er… You can all be our guest! Daniels, start cleaning up the beach.” Daniels: “Yes Sir.” (1 hour later) Daniels: “Why do I get stuck on cleanup duty?” *finds Laura’s urn in a pile rubble, which includes some broken up and useless Mana Crystals* *Cleans it off and sets it aside* Laura: *Materializes, I Dream Of Jeannie style* “What, Where Am I? Did you save me somehow?” *Emotionally hugs onto Daniels* Daniels: “Not Again!” <i>Fast Forwarding</i> Brahn: “I am a man of my word… but the Templar doesn’t Negotiate with Terrorists. *Clovis is hit by a tranquilizer dart, collapsing to the floor* Clovis: “I am a… pretty princess…” *snores* Brahn: “Like we have the skills to override Nora’s most wrath induced spells.” *Licks the crystal* “I love Rock Candy.” <b><u>But this is how it really could have ended.</u></b> Trace: “I am Grand Templar Trace Legacy, and from now on, all slavery is forbidden. I know my past was full of crimes against the Keidran Race, slavery included, but I’ve found love in the form of a Keidran, I know what I did was wrong, and the Templar Order will now accept all mages, regardless of race or gender.” *And thus begins an epic fight scene between Brahn and Trace*

I’ll likely keep the story comments shorter than this in most situations. This one was inspired by some the other comments kicking off a mental chain reaction which devolved into the script for a 4-5 minute HISHE.

A couple years or so, and just here on Patreon. I like to write, and can be a perfectionist, which occasionally gets me in tricky situations. For example, my <b>STORY-COMMENT™</b> above, meant about 45 minutes to an hour in the parking lot before driving home.
