Y-your sister sent me to tell you breakfast was ready! What are you WEARING!?" Maren: "NOTHING, you perv!" Sythe: "Well, CLEARLY! Why are you wearing nothing? I mean, me and half our friends usually sleep in the buff. But, you? This is so unlike you! ...I-isn't it?" Maren: "Of course it is! I never would have worn this if I thought YOU would be at my door!" Sythe: "Well, who did you THINK would be waking you?" Raine, poking head around the door: "Morning, Maren! I was just about to wake you up for breakfast. Looks like Sythe beat me to the punch today! Hee-hee! Morning, Mr. Diplomat!" Sythe: "..." Maren: "..." Raine: *Notices Maren's attire.* "O-oh! I'm not, um... interrupting anything, am I?" Sythe, gaping like a fish: "I... Uh... We... Duh..." Maren: *Buries face in pillow and screams.* "...No, Raine. We were just about to head down. Catch up to you in a bit." Raine: "Oh. Uh... Of course. I'll, um... give you two some privacy." *Exits." Maren, head still buried in pillow: "Sythe? Do I have to explain what will happen if you tell ANYONE about this morning?" Sythe: *Violently shakes head in the negative.* Maren: "I'm going to assume that you have been struck mute and are nodding your understanding. Now, kindly exit my room and close the door on your way out." Sythe: *Violently shakes head in the affirmative. Exits and shuts door behind him.* Maren: *Sighs and rolls onto back* "...I wonder how long it will take me to sink through this bed and into the ground if I just lay here forever. Welp... Only one way to find out."

Species is a concept within biology, but races are used by subdivisions like mycology et cetera for historical reasons. Maybe that is where breeders got their "races" from, c.f. how dogs are more related to gray wolfs than other canines. The usage in "racist" denotes an ad hoc idea about cultures (or skin colors but not so much hair and eye colors, et cetera odd obsessions). "Ethnocentric" seems more descriptive, I may adopt it!
