Not to be "that guy" but Kathrin is one of the few Keidran in the main cast that is literate.

Modern Kat wears more clothing. I feel like modern Kat has a different upbringing and is probably a lot more educated and better off than the Kat that we know. Something about this Kat screams 'college student' to me. She sits at her desk with her music, and working on her homework, or is cramming for a test. I wonder about Nora's role here. Is she Kat's pet? She seemed to be into that sort of thing.

I think that last comment was responding to mine, maybe teasingly so - too little context - but I literary just said that. I mean, it's okay to refer to his breasts as "her" breasts since his sex is female and the context is his female body. But it's a spoof of the title of "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" adapted to his gender.
