I wonder if there will ever be some side story in that (modern) world. Would be nice to have it like: 1000 years later story goes round again, or at least it tries (reminds me a bit of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Achaja ). Would be great to see how world changed and yet people (and not only) stayed the same (or maybe not? Who knows what would Tom come up with?).

It think it's an Undertale reference. There's a food item called "Popato Chisps" you can by from a late-game vending machine. It recovers the same amount of health as normal Potato Chips, so probably just a gag item. :/
