Love it. The buildings in the background look like medditerannian Italy.

Shockblaster

I expected the Western Basitin to be far more tribal and far less evolved for whatever reason...

ChampionOfBagels

The worldbuilding and architecture is my favorite part of this one. But I still don't know why east and west are so opposed to each other. Maybe that could be found out soon.

WereKeidran

You gotta love Basitin goodness

Elvenhunter84

I can't look at this sketch the same way after seeing the Wolfie-paws sketch

Roughlandin

Kevin: "My guard conditioning can't repel cuteness of this magnitude! Gah!"

Silent Thunder

“Developed” probably? But yeah, we haven’t seen much of their infrastructure or architecture before (mostly as much as a “tropical island hut”, iirc)

KaiserDunk

And if cuteness doesn’t work, there are other ways...

ThirdKind

The way Tom had drawn them so far has made them out to be very tribal in appearance either Celtic or Samoan in the way they have their outfits and body paint so I don't blame you.

ThirdKind

OK writing nerd going to insert here. The background on this gives so much information to the culture it looks very similar to Roman Villas making me think the Western Basitins to be very much like Proto Romans or even Etruscan in there society and culture so not so much pure Roman but kind of a mixture between Celtic, based upon their dress, and Romans at least that's how I see it. I would love to see more architecture from them it's like Eastern Basitins are Franco Germanic or even Anglo or Norse while Western Basitins are more Greek and Roman or Iberian. More detail please Tom.

Markvincible

Madelyn is truly irresistible, the male basitin is pretty cool too.

dadrobit

Thanks so much for this! Absolutely adorable!

Q

Holy shit, I’d love to see more basitin himbos!

MoppyPuppy

Maddie has to undermine this clearly evil civilization, I mean just look at that town and that landscape.

LegoBoy71617

I remember reading that the Eastern and Western Basitins had switched sides of the island. Could it be that those buildings were originally created by the Eastern Basitins? I wouldn’t put it past them to build it themselves, but I still think it’s a possibility.

SCD

Guard: I know how to defeat you! (he puts a paper bag over her head) Madelyn: Grrr! You win this round, whoever you are!

Andrew Copsey

WE ARE THE MAD. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE.

ElderScrollsMekkan

I like this! And a glimpse further into the Western Basitin world! Do I detect a hint of Spartan inspiration?

Terrifyingboi

By asking her if she wants a sprite cranberry, or killing him? It better be one of those things. cuz if your suggesting something bad, they age like humans! If you are saying it like that your a perv ass.

Kinipshun

Maddie’s hair is adorably fluffy

tamtheotter

She is an adult, she's already admitted to lying about her age
