Karen catches her sister Maren acting uncharacteristically affectionate towards Sythe, giving him a belly rub, suggested by Mediawatcher!

Markvincible

Aww, maren truly has a caring side to her, a part of her still has a love for dogs!

WereKeidran

Maren "I was just checking his fur for tangles! It's not like I thought his muscles looked nice and wanted to touch them or anything!"

AlphaWolf85

Which wolf doesn't like a belly rub

Terrifyingboi

Karen ships it. And I like how much BG you put Tom! Great work!

Malen69

I guess now that Keith and Natani are officially a couple, there had to be a new secret relationship to fill the void.

AstroChaos

Just doing like they do on the Discovery channel... =)

Terrifyingboi

First nat has the kicking leg, then Sythe? Does that mean Raine does... that would be cute!

Adamas

Oy, Keith! Got a job for ye!

James Vineyard

Who's a good boy that just got groomed?

VGR

This is what Karen told Maddie the two of them are doing in Sythe’s room.

ThirdKind

Now for some heavy petting

Roughlandin

Karen: "Awww!" Maren: "K-Karen!? Knock first!" Karen: "Whoops! Sorry! I'll give you two some privacy." Maren: "...Wait. That's it? You're not going to make some dumb joke, or crude remark, or... I don't know... say something... Karen-y?" Karen: "What? A girl can't be legitimately excited that her sister has finally found a nice guy who doesn't go around casting curses on people for annoying him? I'm happy for you two!" Maren: "I... Wow, sis. I don't know what to say. T-thanks." Karen: "You're very welcome! Welp, guess I'll leave you two to it! Just, do me a favor and warn me if you decide to skip the heavy petting and have a... howling good time later? Tee-hee!" Sythe: *Blushes and stammers.* Maren: "Karen! That's EXACTLY what I was talking about! ARGH!!" *Throws pillow at door.*

[NoMiddleInitial]

That’s what happens when you don’t hang a sock on the door.

ProudLoneWolf

Let's get back to this in the main comic sooner rather than later.

MoppyPuppy

"Bummed out" would not even begin to describe my disappointment if this is all that Maren and Scythe did in that room.

Markvincible

I think it’s safe to say that’s not what sythe was talking about when he said “hook up” in the comic

Elvenhunter84

Dont worry, this is just the foreplay

KaiserDunk

I’d like to think that Maren and Scythe do get a better chance to get it on, and find out if Trace and Flora were not just a coincidence regarding her pregnancy.

Thisguy

Yeah, I agree with Elvenhunter84, this is just foreplay. And studies show that couples who devolve into cute activities instead of just sex are more likely to have long fulfilling relationships.

Markvincible

Yup, which is why I am all for this cute stuff.

Terrifyingboi

What? Ok I got the first part but I don’t get everything after the coma. You probably won’t reply because I’ve never seen you reply. Can someone else fill me in?

Roughlandin

I think he's wondering whether Neutral's interference to allow Trace and Flora to interbreed works across all Humans/Keidran, or if it only worked for the two of them.

SCD

Sythe: I thought you locked the door. Maren: I did. Karen: I unlocked it with a lock pick, I’m the master of unlocking. Maren: ……….Leave, or I’ll tell Trace to remove those cat ears of yours! Kaen: Eep! (closes door, and runs away) Maren: Rack'n frack'n para kota flatter ocka clapper pluckin' saddle! Sythe: Hey that’s a good impersonation of Yosemite Sam. Maren: (gives him the death stare) Sythe: I’ll be quiet.

KaiserDunk

Roughlandin beat me to it. Was Neutral active in allowing Trace and Flora to conceive, or was Neutral actively suppressing human/keidran fertility until she was defeated and Trace and Flora were the first to try it after the defeat?
