Man I love how almost everybody is cheating. I also love how the cards have different suits than our world. Like they have Pixies, Masks, Bones and Paws. Nibs even has a Dragon card in her mouth. A cute little detail

Brutus reminds me of one guy that I met in debate club. Our instructor had us play poker at times to teach us how to keep a straight face and/or bluff. There was this one kid who would NEVER stop smiling. Even when he talked he didn’t stop. No one could read him. ARGH!!!

Brutus must be the happiest wolf in their world. No matter how smart or dumb, or how much he might know about cards, he knows an eternal smiling face can get on everybody's nerves, forcing errors. It also is easier for him, and might take some of the sting out from others losing to him. He's figured out how to be the card anti-shark.

My understanding is that he wasn't getting them all done each month and a backlog was accumulating. To avoid that continuing and to get caught up he put a hold on adding more to the pile until he could clear the backlog. Also, he wanted to put the time they took towards other projects so even when the backlog is cleared they will continue to be unavailable, for now.
