Woah! Maeve is 13 years old. Ok, please.🙏

Hxney

my heart ❤️💕💕💕💕💕

DiDiDi-X

This is so adorable and heartwarming. I love it

Alex Fenn

Would definitely enjoy a cute lil side comic about those two

Kinipshun

This is adorable, but i’d be irritated that my tail was getting wet

Toby T. Tobes

Thank you very much Tom for sketching my suggestion! It has came out better than I imagined! The ladies look quite lovely, and the setting being outside is a great touch. I love the water trickles from the umbrella.

Maeve: "Today has been wonderful, but um..." Maddie: "But what?" Maeve: "What's with all the Basitins hiding in bushes and taking pictures?" Maddie: "Oh, them? Basitin paparazzi. Comes with being a Royal's daughter. I caused quite the scandal when I decided to come to the mainland and attend a public university, you know." Maeve: "Oh! Well, should we... do something about them?" Maddie: "Yeah, I got it. Watch this... BY THE LAW! THAT VISITING MAGISTRATE IS COMPLETELY NAKED!" *Nothing happens.* Maddie: "-AND HE ISN'T WEARING ANKLE WRAPS!" *Explosion of camera-wielding Basitins running for the street.* Maddie: "Heh. Works every time." *Takes a satisfied sip.*

Maeve: What did you like better, Jedi or The Empire Strikes Back? Madelyn: Empire. Maeve: Blasphemy. Madelyn: Empire had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father. Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All Jedi had was a bunch of Muppets.

CrimsonQuill086

A bright spot to an otherwise humid and overcast day... I love this picture.

Calvin-Skye

These cute scenes are lovely!

Cliff Warden

Especially with tail fluff like that, it would take days to dry out

Toby T. Tobes

Yes! Tom did a fantastic job. Also, I know most people don't like rainy days but I think it makes moments like these all the more cozy, and rain makes the worlds colors so vibrant!

Adamas

any creature who's environment includes snow will have some pretty water resistant floof.

KaiserDunk

Looks like the rain is passing while two friends enjoy some quiet time with some good coffee. I do wonder, though; did Maeve inherit the inn from her mother?

Cliff Warden

In the comic at the time of this comic she's nineteen. Though remember keidrean age faster than humans and basitins. So while Maeve is 15 years younger, she will catch up developmentally, the downside is they grow old faster as well so she'd eventually overtake maddie in apparent age. When dealing with other species, it's important to understand the age of adulthood of both and lifespan disparity

LegoBoy71617

If I’m not mistaken these AU sketches ignore the age rules that the main comic follows.

Iago24

Maddie is 17, Maeve is 6. But two years later they are both young adults by the standards of their species.

David Gipe

I'd certainly hope so. Assuming the Inn-portal doesn't become unfortunate.

pumacatrun2

maddie gets the tall trait yay
