Willow moves in with modern Laura and Kathrin, suggested by Scrubb!

For those confused, Willow's body will go around on autopilot when separated from the lamp. And apparently something's blocking willow's lamp top from opening. Probably the rest of the stuff Willow packed in there.

Her body's not really this independent in her original story, it's normally only able to do basic tasks, but maybe in the modern setting she's evolved a little.

That exchange at the end is wonderful lol

Ordithus

What a strange conversation haha, gotta love Willow.

Broaster07

Don't tape Me In The box; I don't follow you, you shouldn't. This is like the beginning of a Abbot and Costello routine

Beck Carmine

Laura getting iced in the background is a nice touch. Keith is probably being sus.

Ellarihan

Laura knows today's trends! A fun game, I myself just came from there. Who will be the impostor in the Twokinds world?

Ember Saffron

So what happenes to evolved willow when her lamp comes back...

Duke of J

So..."Willow" just walked around wearing nothing but a box?

ElderScrollsMekkan

Just help her unpack and it'll all make sense in a minute, Kat xD

Terra The Wizard

Laura: "red sus" Red: "we're not even in the game, stop saying that" Laura: "that's just what an impostor would say" Sythe: "I agree with orang-- I mean laura"

Kinipshun

Willow gives me slight Catra vibes. Not in a bad way, she just kinda looks like her

Terrifyingboi

Awwwwwwe! I love this. This needs color!!

Roughlandin

Kat: "Did you walk all the way over here without clothes?" Willow's Body: "I have clothes!" Kat: "...Are they in the box, too?" Willow's Body: "..." *Nods.* Kat: *Sighs.* "...I REALLY hope moving you in here helps Laura get past this 'Keith' thing." Willow's body: "Oh! I also passed the Keith thing, on my way here." Kat: "You saw Keith? What did he say?" Willow's Body: "He asked if I knew where a pharmacy was, so I showed him." Kat: "Oh, nice. Where is he now?" Willow's Body: "In a hole."

Kathrin: You can drop your box anywhere. Willow: Okay. (drops the box on top of the plugs for Laura's computer) Laura: NOOOOOO!!!!

durandle

probably back to normal

Ember Saffron

but what happens to that willow? The one that is puppeting the body

Cliff Warden

Masks help Laura if the magi brothers are imposters. Or worse, only one is an imposter and the other is an accomplice.

Scrubb

As great as always, good stuff Tom

KHVathiel

That's adorable, I feel bad for her body tho. She has no idea and is probably gonna be scolded

I am probably in the minority, but I find the use of a sentient “body” aka a person as a appendage to be a bit problematic. She can cognate to the point of using “I” and self realizing actions and engaging in tasks such as interacting in conversations, then at what point did she lose the right (of maybe it’s a privilege in the world of powerful beings who can possess others) to be a free person? I would like to see more of these two to answer questions of their relationship and how they interact around the idea that they are both people, one powerful in the realm of the mind and the other necessary in realm of the corporeal.

The original explanation is that Willow herself gained sentience after splitting off from a larger entity. In much the same way, her body only begins to gain sentience after being apart from her for longer periods of time. Also, Tom mentions in this pictures description that Willow’s body isn’t normally this independent. I would like some more in depth descriptions and explanations too though. Alas without their own comic I doubt they’ll ever get too fleshed out.
