At one point during the making of her ref sheet, Tom had her described as Abomination Against Nature, or Aan. I believe it was meant to be a play on Raggedy Ann dolls, which are stitched together from different fabric scraps.

Careful, Keiren. If you scare Reni off, poor Chimera will have to go out Trick or Treating as a Horseless Headswoman instead. Great work, Tom! Chimera and Reni look adorable as always, and having them interact like this kinda makes sense with Reni's fascination for magical curiosities.
