I can see Natani trying to backstab Sythe with that hidden knife while Zen keeping him busy. I really like this AU. Seems more Darker and shows what would the characters become in there evil timelines.

Now I'm kind of wanting a crossover where it's the Twokinds cast standing in as the characters of The Meek, would be interesting :) Is there a Wolf Keidran in the moon here, or is it just me?

I feel like this shows a side of Sythe that is there but will never manifest itself unless pushed over the edge (like Trace). It's always the kind ones, isn't it? If he had chosen to side with his kind and fulfill his duties as a diplomat from the very beginning, he could have worked his way up to general at the very least, and woe to a world that opposes him.

It probably is a wolf or other keidran figure because, to quote Obi Wan Kenobi, "That's no moon." It appears to be some type of communications or scrying magic positioned above the table. Perhaps similar in concept to the scrying ball seen in the comic: https://twokinds.keenspot.com/comic/1157/

I also like the beacons on the tactical map and the use of the scrying stone for long distance communication. Awesome work as always, Tom! Congrats, Prose!
