AstroChaos

The moon was a ghostly galleon, tossed upon cloudy seas...

I'd love to see Willow hit an impasse with someone that would make Seinfeld proud. Willow: Whatever you do, don't follow me. Character: I'm not going to. Willow: Don't go the way I'm going Character: I'm actually going the other way, but thanks Willow: You don't want to follow me Character: I know. Why would I? Willow: Because Character: Because why? Willow: You just wouldn't want to Character: Ok then. I won't Willow: Are you sure? Character: Yeah, I'm pretty sure. I'm going to get soup around the corner. Willow: ....What kind of soup? Character: Crab Bisque. Willow: I'm going to follow you *cue the Seinfeld beat*

A week ago, I would have followed her into oblivion in the hope of either reuniting with my ascended sphynx or to end the pain.

Haunting and beautiful. A monochromatic painting already, very nice.

She looks so gorgeous as a human, it would look even more interesting if this was colored. I wish this one's gonna be voted for coloring.

if i were a traveler and going in a forest alone and saw her i would be cautious becouse i might've heard of legends of a spirit or ghost lingering in the forest at night for whatever reason and could lead to horror from legends and myths to taverns i'm staying for a while

Wooooow! I love lioness Willow, but the effect of human Willow just really makes the fact that her "body" is just a magic golem of sorts hit home. She almost looks like a porcelain doll, which combines with her eyes to really make her body look... hollow. Amazing work, Tom! Color voted for sure! Congrats, OnkelInferno!

Cliff Warden

I'm loving the atmosphere of this one. It's definitely a contender for the color vote

Spino Raptor

actually... I'd say it's absolutely perfect the way it is. The light of the lantern being the only source of color in the dark, grey, misty forest, the way it illuminates the figure of a mysterious woman who seems both out of place and perfectly at home in the forest... It all fits so well with what she's supposed to be. In my little opinion, coloring it would only really harm this

CrimsonQuill086

This reminds me somewhat of pictures of the Morrigan from the cloak, and the general foreboding air (minus Morrigan's black hair and crows)...I like it!

Roughlandin

Willow's body is based on her friend Maya, a lioness Keidran who Willow tried to help but accidentally killed instead. Before that, her body looked like a hooded shadow.

KaiserDunk

Very haunting yet beautiful image.

and, hark! the distant glimmer of its light beyond silent siren seems promise of safe harbor- Yet, so far efforts only meet fatigue, but forever that clearing gleams... only like a sinister grin. ...forever...it gleams... 😈

She could be a cover model for a modern Gothic novel.

Just as long as it stops before someone yells "Third Base!"

I have to agree with SpinoRaptor, I actually think it's perfect exactly as it is. The monochrome palette and blurred/misty surroundings, with only Willow's face & upper body clearly defined, is an absolutely perfect match for the content. Adding more color & definition would actually detract from the atmosphere, the intent of the imagery.
