Hmm. How would dark trace accept flora? There's the chance that choker is a slave collar. There's also the possibility that in this au she was aware during the ephemeral incident. Seeing euchre as a templar breaking her trust in him, and possibly her people. If trace's memories were triggered by the basitin tower incident that would explain why Nora hasn't stepped in for her descendant. She may favor trace, but with her dragon pride I don't think she'd be THAT aloof about a captured dragon.

Both Reni and Nora have what looks like 'hair' or 'manes' in multiple pictures, though it's hard to tell if they're really hair-like or like longer, flexible scales, or perhaps more like the 'feathers' that we now are thinking dinosaurs had. My guess is they're probably similar to hair and nails on humans (some kind of evolutionary remnant), or they could be a conscious choice to better fit in with the other races, though pictures of very young Reni seem to have similar 'hair' so it's likely natural. I don't think we've seen many dragons so far (that we know of anyway) so it's difficult to know how common that is.

In this AU, I imagine that Flora figured out that she was intentionally led to Trace, and decided to make the most of this opportunity by seducing the Grand Templar, even helping him to recover his memories as a way of additionally ingratiating herself with him. She was unhappy with being offered as a bride to a wolf, anyways. "It's always those wolves," she might coo into his ear at night. "Those dirty, treacherous, mangy wolves." And why shouldn't she take some happiness for herself? She's a tigress, and a damn fine one, even if her own people couldn't see it. Keidran live such short lives anyways, there's simply no time to give of oneself without expecting something in return. And now her people have to respect her, because she has the mighty Grand Templar with her now.

Why, it's their crowning achievement, why shouldn't they immortalize it along with themselves in a painting? Trace and Flora, masters of all kinds, even dragonkind. I daresay Nora would be proud of her young protege, even, for taking all that he deserves. What kind of man would take any less? The world took everything he cared about from him - his true love, right down to his last memories of her - it's only just that he should take back in kind.

If this one get color i don't think Reni is gonna be solid black anymore. If they are using her as a mana battery they are basically draining her life force. Her scales would be a dull grey, maybe a dark grey but no longer pure obsidian black. Heck, Trace might have figured out how to extend the life of a keidran, by stealing life from a dragon.

I see Keith and Nat as other Templars. Nat would new Spy Templar and Keith would go insane because of magic and would be the most ruthless soldier and their general. Sythe, Raine and Zen are killed because of human and wolves (Keith convince Trace to not kill Nat). Rest of team B would be their agents to infiltrate any resistance against new Templar Order

Unlikely for two reasons; one, she's rather fond of Trace, and it seems to be a mutual feeling, and two, killing Nora would be a major waste of magical potential... But this brings up a canon question; with what happened in the mansion, how long until Nora wakes up from the disturbance of her magics?
