this looks like fun and i wonder how skilled they are and maybe keith are more skilled than natani only one way to find out and that is to buy a surf board and use my magic to get a paddle to sail out and catch a wave with them and maybe have a race for bragging right or for a drink and i think reni should be the judge on who gets on the beach first

Even though he knows damn well she's a girl amd everyone that has ever read the comic knows she has the biggest chest out of everyone. Take a deep breath, its a damn comic, he, she ,it , its a damn drawing and lacks the ability to think or have feelings.

POV: Laura catches her boyfriends being cute together on their beach trip and decides to snap a sneaky candid shot. Nat and Keith would act embarrassed about it afterwards, but each would later independently ask Laura for a copy. "Just for safe keeping." Beautiful work, Tom. It's always refreshing to see Nat and Keith's expressions look so unguardedly happy. Cool designs on the boards and wetsuits, too. Congrats, TeraKat!

Well written characters feel real. There are people here that respect the character and choose to use the appropriate descriptors. Natani's mind was literally fractured and his connection with zen caused genuine, if magically induced gender dysphoria. This is also a world where magical gender change is possible. Granted it seems to be a sphere of magic almost exclusive to dragons. Transgenerism has many more options on mekkan than it does irl with our current level of tech. Edit: my interface sucks and I didn't realize the mistakes. Fixed them

I always thought that Natani was born female, had to act male in order to join the Assassin’s Guild along with her brother Zen, got zapped by a curse that removed part of her soul. Zen donated part of his soul to keep her alive, and she had to use magical breast bands to keep up the disguise as she got older and now thinks of herself mentally as male while physically she is still female.

In the scene with Natani’s mindscape, he mentions that it wasn’t just him pretending to be a boy, he felt like a boy. The whole idea of “doing it because [Natani] had to” was just Zen’s perception, because Natani refused to tell Zen otherwise. So when Zen’s mind filled in the gaps from the link Natani remembered it incorrectly. It’s on page 932 if you anyone wants to take a look themselves.

@Sir Reginald Lee IV it's unfortunately a 100% landmine because half the fandom understands it's a comic, Nat is 100% a girl with literally half the mind of a guy, her brother which makes her feel like a guy. Then theres the other half of the fandom,"ItS a MAaaaAAAaN!" in this case @KaiserDunk is the correct one. She had to pretend to be a guy to get into the assassins Guild or else they would have killed her. Clovis fractured her mind and Zen healed her by splitting his to fill in the gaps of hers melding both of their minds together, as such Natani started thinking she really was a guy.

I'd like to remind folk that Nat enjoyed being seen and regarded as a guy even before his fight with Issac. The whole "the mind link caused the gender dysphoria" is just something Zen thought, which then seeped into Nat's mind. I don't get why so many people here insists on being disrespectful, if not downright hostile, towards Natani because of his gender identity. For the record: Confident male-body/presenting Nat is best Nat.

Nat has clearly stated that it wasn't just a disguise, and that he wanted to be a guy even before the guild. Everyone who's actually *read* the comic knows this. It's clearly been stated countless times that Nat is a guy, and it's important to respect that. Transphobia towards fictional characters hurts real people as well by normalizing bigotry. Stop the spread of hate.
