I wonder if this predicament is going to leave Clovis caught in a loop of being subservient to ‘her’ master, only while female Clovis can not BE the master and must await ‘her’ master’s return because of the enchanted slave manacles that are part of the ‘costume’ the trap put ‘her’ in.

It would be a causality loop that could only be broken by something outside that magical system. Even simple systems can carry subtle assumptions that may never appear except under some rare situation. It happens in real-life math and programming, too. But not usually with such delicious results.
