That's actually a good point, and a suggestion I'd like to see: How the Modern AU keidran have been handling this especially hot summer. Like, have they been trimming their fur extra short? Is New Edinmire an American-style city where air conditioning is common, or European-style where all they can do is open windows and turn on fans?
