that's not really how maternal instinct works having a kid doesn't mean you stop caring about everything else you cared about, nor should it a parent is still also an individual person with their own thoughts and feelings outside their kid after all :D

Tigers are caring parents but they still spend more time away from the Cubs then with them. And we all unfortunately know how bad human parents can be. I think flora is being a good mom In this one. And trace isn’t going to eat the baby so we’re good
