Thats actually a good idea amenon and nice work tom :D

DarthKeidran

I love how these two look so extremely similar, Pre-color! Now for the question: who is Raine attracted to? Red, Sythe, Zen, Or will a fourth person show up? Instead of a love triangle, or a love square, it will be a love Pentagon, or hexagon if Tom gets crazy enough with it. Wait! What if Eric sees Raine in her half-kind form?

amenon

Red, Sythe, or Zen? Funny way to spell Maren :p

DarthKeidran

According to the movie "Frozen", "love is an open door." But I didn't expect the door to be so open that Keith becomes color blind and can't tell the difference between a Snow wolf and forest wolf Keidran. Maybe, though, Basitins only see in black-and-white and their contrast is really screwed up? I don't know! Tom?!?!

amenon

He can't tell because they haven't been colored in :p For me, the real mystery is the water pistol xD

DarthKeidran

She did save Zen from an early demise, Maybe she has feelings for him.

Sunfish43

Based off the bottom banner, I think teams A + B eventually meet up and they fall for Mike + Evals.

DarthKeidran

Probably a reference to people squirting their dogs to command obedience. I guess Keith is stereotyping them. XD

As I watched this sketch in progress during last Sunday's stream, I saw this as a prelude of things to come in the latest chapter (i.e. Raine finding out that the magic shackle she put on Zen almost killed Natani and/or Keith angrily confronting Raine because of this). Even if this doesn't happen in the actual comic, I treasure this sketch because it shows a glimpse to Keith's potential insanity. >:)

Jordan Dean Ezekude

My bet is on Red since he stook up for her even when finding it hard to accept her for who she is (at first). But Zen may have an interest in Raine too (as a token of gratitude for saving him). But I fear Keith will definitely HATE her if he finds out that Raine is the one who almost (accidentally) killed Natani (with the magic shackle she used to save Zen).

DarthKeidran

You have a point there. Keith would have a hard time forgiving. I think that if Zen explains to Keith that had he died, it would've probably killed Natani, it might quench his anger. I guess we won't know until the end of chapter 19.

amenon

Treasure your dreams, because that's all you're ever likely to get :p Keith is incredibly resilient, and he might finally be past his worst spots. Even if he isn't, I don't think he'll break. And even if he does, I don't think it'd be in the way you want.

Jordan Dean Ezekude

Who says he'll break? Besides, I think it's high time that Keith puts his foot down and decides to be the BREAKER instead of the BROKEN. If he doesn't assert himself sooner, he may not be able to do so at all. Thus, everyone (including his own friends) will keep pushing him around. I don't want that to happen!

Jordan Dean Ezekude

That may be true, but, as they say, "the road to Hell is paved with good intentions." So I wouldn't let Raine off the hook so easily if I were Keith. And I think Zen would only end up (unintentionally) ticking him off even further thus repeating the fight where they first met.

amenon

He hurts himself when he hurts the people near him, so being the breaker WOULD be breaking for him. He's a total sweetheart under his grumpy exterior :p Just watch him apologize to Trace, when that happens. Unless I much miss my guess, Keith will have been much more bothered by the punch than Trace ever was.

amenon

I could see Keith getting angry at Raine, though I'm not sure that's what'll happen. But even if he does, I don't see him staying angry for long at all. Natani is okay, and that's the key thing. And it matters that there isn't anything wrong with what Raine did. The brothers were trying to kill them, so having their own lives on the line is par for the course. It could have gone a lot worse, for everyone involved.

Jordan Dean Ezekude

But, like it or not, Trace unwillingly left Keith's ex-fiancee for dead (as ordered by Lady Nora), so that punch had to happen sooner or later. Regardless, I think he has bigger problems to worry about right now like protecting Natani. She's the only TRUE friend he has left. As for everyone else, I'm not so sure...

amenon

Oh, I do find a lot of irony in the fact that Trace is apparently willing to risk himself to save people as long as they're not people Keith loves :p And I'm not sure I'd call Trace and Keith friends, based on anything we've seen on the page. But he absolutely isn't pushing Keith around, either. And Keith is the one who owes him, not the other way around. Regardless of all that, the punch wasn't what he should have done, and that being the case, I'm just about sure he'll apologize.

Jordan Dean Ezekude

I completely agree with the irony you speak of. And THAT'S why I think Trace owes Keith probably as much as Keith owes Trace. And yes, Trace is one of the few people who NEVER pushes Keith around. But how would YOU like it if I left someone precious to you for dead when I had a chance to save them? You wouldn't let it slide, would you?

Jordan Dean Ezekude

That's true. I think Zen might be able to use these facts to his advantage should he ever confront Keith again...though I fear Zen might accidentally tick him off even more. Either way, no deed should go unpunished. And I think Keith has let everyone walk all over him for too long. It's high time that HE steps on a douche or two (like Prince Clovis).
