Kat is certainly a complex character to interpret, one week (in comic) seemingly daydreaming of her and Eric's wedding, the next of her and Natani. I blame Flora's initial (an frankly throughout the Basidian shenanigans) disdain for her and lack of reconciliation of their differences in how they were raised.
