It's in 2 weeks and preparation for the Lunar New Year can start very early depending on the country and/or religion. There are special days to observe and it's not a one-day event. The Christmas craze starts before Halloween is even done in parts of the US * shrug * (Also, fun fact! It's the year of the cat in Vietnam :D diffent cultures are interesting)

I knew the day shifted because it's the lunar new year, but I had it in my head it was sometime in summer. Don't know where that came from then.
