maybe a kick in the nuts i believe as it is more sudden than more of knowing the pain ahead of time imagine like this: have you ever wanted to prepare to be kicked in the nuts or wanted to prepare to give birth? the sudden realization something is painful can give an edge to something being more painful than knowing will be painful i'm sure

i can only guess getting kicked in the nuts is more painful than giving birth as i've nutted several times in one day so much my balls hurt and a zigzag bolt of pain shot up on my abdomen which made me nauseous i doubt giving birth can do that to a woman

The basitin are the ones who make rum; their physiology denies most alcohol from taking effect. Red wolves are more likely to make an IPA, if I had to guess.

maybe they're making the red wolf rum for the keidran and the keidran makes the IPA for the basitins and i do believe if i knew how to brew i'd produce loads of alcohol to sell to the basitins and keidran that has strawberry and peppermint that has 3 levels light medium and hard the light one is a daily drinker while the medium one softly gets you drunk while the hard one gets you drunk quickly

We may (or may not) have seen a glimpse of such a child way back in 2017's "Basitin Dinner": https://www.patreon.com/posts/basitin-dinner-14518866 The picture is clearly set some time in the future, after Natani's (and, presumably, Maeve's) passing. While it's not explicitly stated, I suspect that the child in the background was Natani's, born shortly before his death, and likely ages at a Basitin/Human pace. We can see that he (or she) is carrying a wolf plush that is wearing Natani's necklace. But hey, I could be wrong. It's just as likely that Maddie was the mother... but that kid looks like a nice blend of wolf and Basitin.

I spent too long thinking "What are they worried about? They're both guys." Also, someone pointed out that Nat was spewing his drink in shock. I initially thought he was completely oblivious to the conversation around him and was just wolfing down his meal.
