Hollow gains a modicum of intelligence the longer Willow remains outside of her. Much like how Willow gained her own separate intelligence from being away from her mother for so long.

It's funny we're getting a sequel to the previous Modern Trio sketch with the three at the gym. It does also bring some vindication to the aspect of Hollow being essentially a reanimated corpse, with the "living spirit" being the piloting force (at first) behind Willow as a whole. It also helps support my head canon about the spirit using the treadmill as a way to support its endurance when "out of body," but the ramifications of this mean more time for Hollow to continue developing as her own creature. It is nice to see that Hollow wasn't just folded up and shoved into the locker, at least. That is a well-off gym if it can afford to give its users full size lockers for clients' use. I also worry if Hollow's mental pathways reconnect and her original personality starts coming through with original memories, or if this turns out to be a wholly original person. I suppose time will tell. Laura's workout seems have to gone well, despite the alarm. What of Kat, though? All we see is her walking off frame.

Hollow isn't a corpse, she's essentially a new wisp that willow made in the same way that the mother made willow. She crafted the form to look like someone she befriended. Now that I think of it willow probably used her original body (the reaper looking form that carries the other wisp's lamps) to make hollow since she doesn't seem to have that anymore.
