Ever since Sythe ran into the tavern and realised who it was (not to mention thought of the night they ate pizza together), Maren being in a relationship with Sythe came into mind.

Because of your comment, I've been Thinking. Since Trace cursed Karen with a semi-transformation, will any of her kids (when she's eligible to partner up that is) have Keidran ears also? Even if that partner is human. I kind of hope so for two reasons, 1: Trace will have indirectly and accidentally created a new race. 2: The kids would be so Kawaii.

You know, it is too bad Tom doesn't make comments when we ask canonical questions like this. On one stream, a long time ago, I even asked if the girl that played with Keiren and Flora when they were children was Maren, but he didn't answer seriously at all. My theory, she is, and the character that Red started mentioning by name "tan-" might be Flora (who did run away, possibly cutting other friendships short), but nicknamed "Tangie" (short for Tangerine). A bit of a stretch I know, but after those years, they might not have recognized each other.

You know, as long as Sythe learns how to brush her hair and/or maintain his fur, I can see their relationship working out quite well.
