I guess its Waitress Laura's day off,so she brough her friends and date for that employee discount. Also Out of frame: Greaser Brutus and Clovis messing with the Juicebox which ticks off Natani which leads to her confronting them which leads to a diner brawl involving copious amounts of thrown food,slang and fur grease.

Kinda a repost below of a reply I made on the suggestion post, since it has been buried a bit now. First, I'd just like to thank Tom for the sketch! Looks great! However, I did notice some in the stream chat assume I meant the Backstage AU instead of the Modern AU. No, I very much intended this suggestion to be in the Modern AU. Unless you count the Backstage AU as a future point in the Modern AU, but I know there's split opinion on that. Recently in suggestions, Modern AU Laura has been hanging out with Keith and Natani, Trace showed up recently in the sketch 'Modern AU - Car Jump'. My thoughts are this is some unspecified time in the Modern AU future where they're hanging out as a friend group, with their respective partners. Possibly also a prequel to diner Laura, hence the 'Help Wanted' sign. She's gonna need a new source of income after her stream ban.

Trace is still with Flora in the Modern AU, though. The only AU where Trace and Laura are an item is Backstage.

Now I'm imagining that diner being a nexus point for all the AUs. Imagine the Lauras from the modern, backstage, gender swap, etc. AUs independently decide to go have a burger only to find that they're half the customers and one of the waitresses.

If it's the 1950s, and Nat is still looking like a guy, Keith and Nat are going to have problems Real Soon Now. Not as big as the problem that Trace will have when Flora finds out about this date, but problems.

I can't decide if that idea is scary or exciting. I don't know if anyone's made that suggestion but I'd love to see it suggested.
