That was Flora's one mistake... She didn't wear the apron while presenting the cake... The Cake god's were not pleased, and thus, Flora suffered their wrath...

That’s a layered cake those have picks in them to keep ‘em stable. You could lose an eye or even die face -planting into one of those.
