#1 Color vote from May, Laura's memories of Trace slaughtering wolves from the flashbacks of Page 431 and Page 587 suggested by Nitarius!

This background was difficult.

Zack Wyndbain

So are we playing spot the differences?

Niskara

Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous

Zack Wyndbain

I am indeed blind then lol. I'm looking at this without my glasses

K_D Lawrence

Damn what a emotional piece, you outdid yourself again Tom.

Alex

Never expected Tom to draw gore, looks great.

AstroChaos

Holy shitsnacks, the house burning there might be the most impressive thing I've ever seen you colour Tom. And given how good your backgrounds are... that's saying something. 😲

Glassan

Yeah it was a challenging background, but you nailed it. Well done, Tom.

Dhaka Yeena

I was hoping this got colored

wayne sampson

I wonder if Laura talked to Trace about that in her last moments

AstroChaos

Honestly, the original version of this (page 431) is probably even more gory than this, though the vast improvements in the artwork in the many years since then makes this one closer than it otherwise would be.

Timmainsson

This is a horrific scene showing the intensity of emotion and complexity of control Trace had at that moment. His modicum of mercy at that instant shows much of what was in his heart and the challenge in his brain

firandor

Man, it must suck to be that guy on the spike.

ThirdKind

The spike guy. What is his story. I mean how pissed was Trace that he did that?

DMG Entertainment

When you eat the last of Trace's favorite cookies.

Silent Thunder

Man, that background must’ve been murder, but you did a killer job of it! Bloody fine work!

Trenton Bushnell

You know that level of pissed when you stub your toe, step on a Lego, and find out that your partner was cheating on you for someone else at the same time? Combine all that, multiply it by 5, and that's where Trace's pissed level is at.

silver dragonia

this looks amazing coloured and what past trace were mentally capable of still frightens me abit even though i may use violence if i had to but this massacre? i don't see a reason for it even what has happened to his beloved wife

silver dragonia

maybe she did and i wonder what you mean is it about trace's wife who got killed becouse of a keidran or whoever killed her?

silver dragonia

so basicly PHENOMAL COSMIC POWERS in a ity bity living space levels of being pissed?

Wesley Farber

Wow I did not notice the severed corpse on the stake the first time. Gruesome.

silver dragonia

it certainly is isn't it? it's also horrifying what old trace were mentally capable of back then

Elijah Jackson

Headcannoning that they were the one who shot Saria originally. I'm more surprised it wasn't just a head on a pike.

Spillthefire6

An nice reminder of how Powerful Trace is and what terrifying things he could do with the power he has. And how he went on to do thing just as bad if not worse until he Lost his memory. I enjoy how the raging fire behind him contrast with the blue of his hair and eyes.

eddi_TBH

Mercy? Or just no threat? Trace doesn't even seem to be looking at her. Anything moving might still attract his destruction.

KaiserDunk

You can see just how far over the edge Old Trace went after Saria’s death, and it puts into context the reactions of Nora and Rose upon meeting New Trace.

Katfeathers

Or perhaps at that point sufficiently not wolf.

Katfeathers

Considering the shape his friend is in, the rest of the wolves are likely in multiple parts as well.

Onyx Dragon 388

And I have a new PC background to add to the collection

The Sexy Beast

Black mana crystals soon..the Fey mother will be pleased.

silver dragonia

yeah seems like so and i don't remember what their reaction was when they met the new trace would you tell me how they reacted?

Drazgon

thanks for all people suggesting that kind of ideas. Majestic art.

KaiserDunk

Very, very nervous. Especially Rose. Start with the Feb 2 2017 episode.

Byron S.

So nice this color art, boy that wolf in the background is so grim.

ElderScrollsMekkan

like a Jedi turned to the dark side... like Revan, with a hint of Malak I looooove the detail in this scene Tom, you're really outdoing yourself!

Onyx Dragon 388

Katfeat is right it’s because she’s a fox and not a wolf
