Most unlikely. If there's one person who deserves to go Trace-like in the comic, it's Keith. He has more in common with Trace than they dare admit. They know how painful it feels to lose a loved one (although Keith has lost more than just one).

I think anyone who has been both human and Keidran would have the potential for extremely lethal mana usage if they needed to, and heaven forbid if someone has experienced mana use in Basitin form. I wonder if mana will affect a Basitin's mind if they're, due to magic, in human or Keidran form? 🤔

Well, the dangers of Basitins using magic was already demonstrated in the Basidian Islands Arc. Albion, while he was still alive, was already blinded by his own delusions and grudge(s) thus allowing himself to be intoxicated with power. I don't think mana can make you lose any more sanity if you've lost most of it beforehand.

I agree, what I meant though was the equivalent of: "if a basitin was turned human before using mana, would their minds turn to mush?"

@Caio Ribeiro, 2 points: page 720-730 is Raine explaining her birth and condition on how she was born to a human mother and concieved when Euchre was in human form. She does say she doesn't know what form she had at birth but that leads to my second point. Raine's shackle suppresses her magic and when she wears it she is human, this indicates, at least to me, that her keidran form and not her human one is the result of magic

I think she is fully human because it is common knowledge that keidran and humans cannot interbreed. Flora's pregnancy being the result of Neutral's interference on page 206. Raine's conception is probably Euchre's PERFECT transformation ability affected his sperm, making Raine genetically a full human who turns into a keidran
