Judging by what looks like a sprig of wheat, this is a heffweisen, as opposed to a lager or ale. It was also clearly filtered, as the cat can clearly be seen through the glass and the beer, itself. Typical beer steins are ceramic or pewter and not typically glass, though glass is used from time to time.

It's either wheat or barley corn. The drawing isn't enough to go off of. It's not rye, that's for sure. Rye is a weed compared to wheat.

My guess would be a European brew based on the stein. But I’m not a big beer drinker so I wouldn’t know
