By "only one shot" do you mean, "can never restart the game, even from the beginning"? If so, that's cruel, like a few other think I've heard of.

You only get 'One Shot' indeed. I don't really want to spoil it but yeah. In the original You can play the entire game in under an hour but unless you get to the save points you can't close the game without suffering from permanent consciences.

And there is no way to change anything. Because the game knows when you're tampering with it. It's crazy. The steam version is more lenient though and longer. And not free. I do not regret buying the steam version for a second.

Oneshot is a game. There is a free version. Do not close it out unless you get to a save point. Permanent consiquences insue if you force close it out.

Like, what kind of permanent consequences? Change in story, instant game over, what? And, like, even in the event of a game over, or reaching the end of the game, you can't start from the beginning? Sorry fur all the questions, I've heard of games with similar mechanics and am curious.

In the original game, if you force close the game the main character dies. You can't continue to play. I'm not going to tell you the end game because that is too much spoiling. In the steam version the game knows when you are tampering with it. But force closing saves progress. Give it some thought. The original IS free to download.

Not in the original. Actually, in either you can't reset. Your choices are very important.

If you want, Tom's brother, Mark(iplier), did a playthrough of One Shot on his YouTube channel. It's a really good game that makes you really feel for Niko as he struggles to save a forlorn world with your help, and I mean that last part literally.
