Now, why didn't I think of that?

Wilford B. Wolf

More clickbait. Though I would pay to see Laura doing the "ojosama" laugh. And Cassidy is in the same building? Interesting....

Spillthefire6

This will lead to a "friendly" visit from our favorite Basitin police girl.

GravTempest

Does anyone else get the feeling that Cass is going to pay Laura a visit "The Shining" style after seeing her electric bill? Also like how Laura's sweater now says Schemes instead of Games. :D

eddi_TBH

Like most lifehacks straddling a tripod of useless, ill-advised and illegal.

Spillthefire6

It will end in a pile full of ordinance violations worth sever dozens times more than the cost of a months Mana for Laura. You know how Basitins love their paperwork.

silver dragonia

i would love to know how laura got into cassidy's apartment besides using somekind of lockpick if you ask me she could've done a better job hidding the cable as i believe cassidy would have a violent day with her door

Dave Ostroske

Most life hacks? Seems like you've been burned by bad advice far too often.

Inu-Chan

Too many 5 minute craft videos eh?

Major Matt Mason

You ALMOST have the Art Frahm vibe down in Panel 2, but she needs to have her pants around her ankles and someone leering... ;-)

Laura: “You call those cuffs? Now THESE are cuffs…”

eddi_TBH

Between Tic Tok parodies and listicle absurdities, I have grown cynical.

Back in my college days our neighbor (and friend) had his Ethernet cable plugged into our router so he didn't have to pay for internet. "ah the good old days"

Trollman906

That’s an OSHA violation and a health and sad risk.

RivCA

I didn't notice that, no. It's the little details that make these sketches funny as hell!

RivCA

Man, I didn't even need the Interwebz to know most life hacks are bullshit. While underway, Sailors and Marines can more than make up for its lack, both in creativity, insanity, and sheer laziness. Bill Gates may love a lazy engineer, but Chief sure as hell doesn't. Case in point, cleaning bilge pockets using a rag on a stick. Chief then got on his hands and knees with a white rag, swiped the bilge pocket, and showed the results. "Back to work, MM2."

Breaking news local Internet, celebrity Laura arrested for breaking and entering

eddi_TBH

There are reasons some things are done a certain way. It's not just that "The Chief's a SOB".

RivCA

Oh, I'm not arguing that. the problem was we were up at 0-dark-30 to clean for inspections. Sure, I was leading the cleaning detail, but none of us wanted to be up before chow just to CLEAN. Plus, a ten-year-old ship has had enough time to develop leaks...

eddi_TBH

I hear that. My comment came out the wrong way.

Kaija

Funfact, back then in Romania (I don't know if they still do it), peoples in building, to save money, connected all of the computer of the building (through multiple cables and routers) to ONE (1) computer in a Cybercafé XD
