Seems the infiltrator left the mask on a little too long and it had some side effects. They're... probably temporary. Suggested by Fiskpinne!

i do wonder what the effects of the mask and what it can do so would some tell me?

I know it's a joke, but if the mask can do that it must have some powerful magic on it considering how difficult transformation magic is outside of dragon magic in universe. Do we have any hard info on that yet, btw? The only cannon characters we've seen use it have been grand templar level mages, a couple natural talents, dragons, Clovis after syphoning dragon magic, and one zealous adrakist. With the exception of Euchre and Raine they all had some connection to dragons, if not being them themselves, so perhaps it's just difficult to learn unless you have hands on training?

It sounds like transformation magic takes so much magical power outside of some kind of genetic fluke that only dragons have enough to pull it off. Even then, maybe only the oldest and most powerful of dragons has the magical reserves to cast it easily (Clovis had to drain almost all of Reni’s magic, for instance). As to adrakists, that may well be only partial transformations of specific body parts rather than their entire being. Just my two cents.

The more she uses the mask, then maybe she gradually gains more wolf-like traits. Hopefully, the mask only works for her, or it could join the Collar of Keidranification in fandom infamy.

Another reason could be the lack of such items being available. Wrapping is any long enough cloth you can tie off. Plus, wrappings are easily replaced, if not simply cinched down tighter as the fibers wear and stretch. Brassieres are manufactured to fit the woman they are meant for, and they wear out.

I have a new theory. This is Vanity. She used the mask enough that it completely changed her. If you look at the first Face Stealer pic she is even wearing a similar bow, in the same place as vanity and both use masks to complety change their appearance.
