#2 Color vote from February sketches, Lt Reed waking in the middle of the communal bed for lynx royalty, realizing she might be in over her head a little, suggested by Tony1695!

Odd observation: Why are they furclad and she isn't? Wouldn't that make her stand out like a sore thumb?

AstroChaos

Given she's guest starring in the royal bed I'd say she's exactly as deep as she needs to be 😌

AlaricLives87

I think that's what they like about her (and they probably already know she's disguised).

JasonAW3

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that they've already figured out that she's a human, but are pretty intrigued that the disguise is so good. i mean, her behavior is pretty atypical for a lynx, and pretty much what they'd expect of a human. Of course, considering how long she's worn her disguise, it may have permanently changed into a Lynx. (Which would mean, to be a human, she'd have to have a new collar...)

silver dragonia

well she's in trouble but i believe she's in trouble in a good way becouse of this

J. N. Squire

She's right! She has kept too many clothes compared to regular keidran and it might blew her cover!

Went Brown

Yeah they likely do know.

JasonAW3

Ooooh... That WILL be interesting...

KaiserDunk

How does she get out before the Prince gets “in too deep” in a different way?

silver dragonia

hopefully she just "magically" gets out of there

INDEXCARDARTS

The last page in this series should be some Lynx offhandedly asking "is everything going ok with the human ambassador" and the reveal that they all knew the whole time

J. N. Squire

Last? Why should it ever stop? As long as Lynx Reed sketch suggestions get voted, it won't stop.

INDEXCARDARTS

Good Point! better idea, two lynxes asking about the human ambassador while reed tries to blend in in the background, showing that everyone is actually in on it

Onyx Dragon 388

The running theory is that the Royal Lynx family already knows about her being human

Headcanon Lonx Royalty time! Bottom left: Prince Atreyu. Crown Prince of the Lynx Kingdom and son of King Ibrahim and Queen Vashti. People tend to underestimate him as just another spoiled, fickle princeling who is prone to proposing marriage as a way of greeting. In reality, he has a big heart that he wears on his sleeve, a quick wit, and an impeccable judge of character. Though he can be given to pouting when he doesn't get his way and he has a crippling weakness for all things sweet. He's genuine and kind, if a little naive about life outside the palace walls. Bottom right: Jalil. Atreyu's childhood best friend and personal bodyguard. He can be intimidating at first, though he's actually quite soft-spoken and gentle to those who know him well. He also plays an excellent oud. Top left: Zahra. Spymaster assigned by the Prince to be Reed's handler. She absolutely knows that Reed is human, but hasn't said anything so far because she also knows that she's harmless and entirely in over her head and she thinks it's cute. Top right: Mimir. Captain of the Faceless Guards. Something of a goofball in private but very professional when it comes to his duties. He and Zahra like to act like they get under each other's fur, but they're really quite smitten with each other and can often be found slinking off together in quiet moments or lounging about cool parts of the palace together on hot days. ...Yes, I have names for all of them. :p

And this, kids, is how I met your father.

Peanuts

You're only "too deep" if you care about getting back out. Marry the Prince and enjoy your happily ever after!

SophieTRat-Skunk

…just wait until the morning, Reed… when you can’t stop puking…

AlaricLives87

I propose a compromise. *scoots over, pats open space* Come!

RivCA

I guess I'll have to extract her. You boys have fun!

TheAnomaly16

No, it's when you're pregnant with the Prince's kittens!

Feligris

I'm very late in commenting on this, but I do love the idea of this kind of plot twist where the lynxes would eventually reveal to Lt. Reed that they caught on to her act pretty early on, but they're just so friendly and easygoing that they honestly enjoyed watching the "lynx Keidran" with a human mind trying to pretend being a Keidran since she wasn't causing any trouble to them and was also unknowingly endearing herself to the lynx prince.
