2026-09-05 23:00 I know you guys are collaborating with Watcher and they kinda don’t really do the content warnings that rusty quill does, but I really wish you had put them on the content you’re hosting over here, even if it’s just for the things you guys wrote. I personally trust rq and support it because of those warnings and them missing here really feels not great, especially when what’s in the “tape” are incidents that are so varied.

This collaboration is everything i needed and wanted!

Aw, it’s so good to hear Jonny and Alex tell a brand new horror story as new characters. Really thoroughly enjoyable horror! Also, FYI - the next time audio is missing? The preview dialogue between Tommy/Adam isn’t present in the audio, but is in the transcript 😊

Hazelri

Aw beans, I was hoping the content warnings would be in the audio, I hadn't started it yet. If you listened, would you mind commenting any obvious content warnings?

Rusty Quill

Apologies, we did not write the script for these, so did not have the content warnings to hand. They are available now (April)

Rusty Quill

These are available now, apologies for the delay

Oh this was delightful! Very excited for the next two parts!!

Sophie

Oh wooow! I love the dynamic between Alex and Jonny that we have in S5 of the Magnus Archives. I'm so happy to hear you guys together in this collab. Great job and great story so far!

Grace 'Gengar' Soria

I refuse to believe this wasn't just Johnny and Alex regular banter while creating Protocol.

I didn't expect that combo of duos to work so well!!! Very fun to have the ghoul boys interrupt and react to the Magnus men -- especially with the meta angle. That was so funny on both sides. Loved the dig to BFU lmao. That truly is a real fun story concept (loved the moment of OHHH I KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON) and I'm excited for next part! (Also got inordinately excited and happy at hearing the AYS theme but with Magnus-style sound distortions!)

"it's from a stranger!" Or THE STRANGER (dun dun dun)

I mean it was good, but the interrupting, stopping the tape for commentary, just was not a good flow. But overall a pretty good episode.

Shouldn't of listened to this in bed in my dorm laughed my ass off

As a listener from the old Magnus Archives who hasn't been able to get into the new show, I was excited that Sims and Newell were featured in this one and decided to give it another listen. Their piece was fabulous, but the constant running commentary and interruptions from the other narrators was not a great choice. It kept pulling me out of the story.

The Adventures of Magpie and Brown Bear

I so want to listen to all three of these but have to stop in the middle of this because to be honest the constant stopping and commentary is really annoying and fully takes me out of the story on the tapes.
